4 years is plenty of time to accumulate depth

Maybe if your program wasn't placed directly in the shitter to start out. BP came in with an empty cupboard and has built from the ground up. He's not known as a defensive coach. He had to start with what he knows best, offense. The defensive recruiting has steadily improved. Believe it or not, Arkansas doesn't produce nearly as much D1 talent as surrounding states and it's tough to recruit elite defensive talent when competing with the likes of Alabama and LSU.

The pressure is on LSU, not us.

eh, that's debatable. if y'all weren't still in contention for a possible NC game berth, I'd agree with that

None of them responded to me calling Wingo the softest SEC RB I've ever seen. I'm not even flaming, I really feel that way. He is to SEC RBs what Samardo Samuels was to Big East PFs.

LSU has scored 15 fewer points overall this year than Arkansas, and has given up a whopping 122 fewer points while playing a hell of a lot tougher offenses.

You can spin your numbers however you wish, but everything else is just window dressing.

it doesn't matter. when the guys you recruited your first year are seniors, you can't blame another staff for a lack of depth

Surely you cannot believe Arkansas is the most potent offense LSU has faced (and, beaten I might add) this season. Arky does not choose to set up the run with the pass, it has to. If you cannot match up across the board...offensive & defensive balance/special teams, you lose. Arkansas can't and won't. LSU will not be defeated by a good yet, one-dimensional team...witness LSU's resume' this year.

Anybody who has watched Wingo run can't argue. He's better suited for Dancing with the Stars than taking a hand-off. He runs a helluva wheel route though.

I acknowledged this in my first post. That will make him a threat in the LSU game.

After watching every snap of the Hogs this year, I believe I have every right to be confident we can go into BR and come out with the victory.

Why?

Arkansas' entire results away from home this year:

@ Bama : L 14-38
vs 5 loss Texas A&M on neutral field: 42-38 win (trailed by 18 points at halftime)
@ 2-9 Ole Miss: W 29-24
@ 6 loss Vanderbilt : W 31-28 (luckiest game of all time, should have lost by 14+)

no idea what you're trying to say, but there are maybe a handful of guys on the roster that were Nutt guys, only 5th year seniors. So how you can blame the lack of depth on a previous coaching staff is beyond me.

Just make sure your guys show up in Tiger Stadium on Friday and we'll see. I'm tired of talking about this.

Lack of depth is because it's Arkansas. No one wants to go there and I don't blame 'em.

Why would any of us care? Do you think LSU is one dimensional?

20 passing attempts/12.6 completions per game says that you are. 1/3 of your plays are rushing attempts...you think that is balanced?

The thing is, we can blitz and still cover the pass. Y'all will eat up the little curl routes and the out routes, but it simply won't be enough. The margin for error allowed is very small. And all it takes is 1 bad play before our guys take it and put 6 on the board.
