Are you as good as Alabama...I think not. Did you see the score of the LSU vs. Alabama game? In case you didn't know LSU beat Alabama at home by 3. Alabama, the same team that beat the piglets by 24. All things being equal, we are playing at home so we should beat the piglets by 4 touchdowns.

What I'm saying is that the lack of depth is because those senior starters have taken most of the snaps from those playing behind them. They are better by virtue of knowing the scheme better and more time in the weight room. I'm saying it takes time to build depth on the defensive side of the ball at Arkansas.

LSU doesn't need to pass, but they lead the SEC in passing efficiency, so when they need to pass, they can and do so with success. why pass the ball when you're destroying everyone, but bama, that you play?

Do yourself a favor and hide your gun before the game because you're going to want it after when your theory doesn't work out for ya. Could we lose? Yes. By 4 touchdowns? frick no.

Because we will continue to do with what works. Our RBs will pound the ball if you can't stop them, they will continue to pound the ball. And when you least expect it- you will see a deep pass. Then back to pounding.
I've watched several Arky games this season, all I can say is- Arky wont be able to stop LSU's run.

Proves you know nothing about the game or you just have your head stuck up BP's arse. We can pass when we want/need to. We don't do it just for the hell of it. Didn't your original post say you pass for 312 and only run for 148? That's balanced, but we're not?

Signature win? Their only claim is that their only loss is to Bama. Their "signature" is actually a loss, and please don't insult everyone by claiming Auburn and USCe are "quality" wins. They're not.

Balance is overrated especially if the opposing D can't stop the run.
Why would we pass 40 times if we can run over people?

Sorry, got lost in the shuffle. Not dodging it. It's a valid question. I'm not going to make excuses, but can offer some opinions as to why they went down the way they did.
Alabama - we simply weren't ready, and both our starting DE's were out of the game. Tyler was rattled and we made no attempt to stretch the field. Dennis Johnson wasn't fully healthy and we've already discussed our other RB's.
Ole Miss - Nutt's superbowl. The motherfricker would rather have beaten us than win one other game all year. You guys should know better than anyone his ability to get his guys to play above their pay grade for one game.
Vandy - Other than this isn't your Dad's Vandy team, I got nothing. Players didn't seem to be into it and thought they'd waltz through it. One thing LSU doesn't have a problem with this year is getting hyped for every game.

Corndog, I guess I'd have to say South Carolina which was a top 10 match-up at the time. Save your breath, I know Lattimore was out. Same could be said for us against Bama missing key playerS.
