Ump with a tight zone. Schmidt fricked.

Hoping it's nerves but he is missing his spots bad.

4 pitch walk with 2 outs. Kid just struggles to throw strikes at times.

I’m confident it’s first game nerves
He will settle in

They were extremely slow in updating the balls and strikes to start off

It’s been a rough start to the season all around for the scoreboard graphic

I would be confident it's just nerves if it wasn't his problem last season.

34 SOs to 2 BBs in the first two games by LSU pitching is pretty good, no?

Yep.

Bad things: 5 hbp, 2 WP, and now 3 HRs given up.

Yea, can't have a starting pitcher that's so inconsistent, unless you're starting midweek games.

Hopefully he starts settling in some. He's got the stuff, that's why the control issues are so frustrating to watch because the talent is off the charts.

I find it very enjoyable and relaxing to watch LSU baseball on the television, therefore I will be doing just that this afternoon.

My preference is that the Fighting Tigers of the University of LSU emerge victorious today and complete the sweep.

Geaux Tigers

Arrambide, Yorke, Pearson, Serna has to be the heaviest four consecutive batters we've ever had in a lineup

If you're complaining about the slider that the catcher caught deep, it was a strike. Umps across the pros almost have to call that now because the ABS would call it a strike anyway.

Jay definitely went with the big bats today. Might need them if Schmidt has some control issues.
