I don't know either coach on a personal level so why would I care about anything else other than winning Titles.

Saban is a great coach, as is Miles, but you can tell Saban is aging much more rapidly than Miles. He puts a lot of stress on himself to the point I don't think he could handle a poor season. I do predict Saban to retire first, although I says he sticks it out for one more national title.

Yep, Saban doesn't look anything like the same coach at LSU, he has really aged...bad. Miles just doesn't let things get to him, and if they do, he doesn't show it like Saban. Miles is loved by the media, Saban has an attitude of an A-hole, no question. I think it really looks good when 'laid back' Miles can beat 'stressed' Saban...

I agree 100%. I think the players love Les and want to win. I don't think they show much respect for him.

Depends on what the person demanding respect considers respect. To you he is disrespected.

Just because Saban is a type A personality, he has problems? I think he is a great guy, intense, probably hard to live with, work with, but still a good guy. I personally think he has burn out that SEC causes and particularly the BAMA fanbase.

That piece of crap may be the dirtiest player in the SEC....I believe he leads the SEC in shots to the head (with most of them not getting flagged).

If I recall correctly, Urban Meyer had a quote not long ago about how Miles could get his players to run through a wall for him. I don't think this year's team disrespects Miles in any way. Although the Shady's incident does sort of contradict that

I've heard many times that Saban has personal problems, but I never hear any specifics.

Can anybody elaborate on what these might be?

You can definitely tell the current players don't have near the respect for Miles that Bama's players have for Saban.

As many others have stated this quote is just wrong. Respect for a leader is developed over time, but fear is established early.
Fear creates immediate response to expectations but respect is a long term, gradual outcome. From a leaders standpoint you can scare anyone into doing what you would like them to do in the interim but the long term requires respect to accomplish the same goal.
I think this is why Saban has been at programs for a limited time and never established himself as the defining coach at a program.
Miles has a similar dismeanor as a Bowden or Paterno. Saban has the flameout potential of those hot heads that come in to a Company, clean house, institute a new system and 5 years later everyone is sick of him.
But if LSU loses by more than 7, or looks different than they have thus far on Nov 5th I can see that fans losing the hope and belief in Miles that is so common now on the Rant and in discussion.
Unless Leadership fails the players they will be on the side of the Leader.

I agree with your assessment. Had the opportunity to meet Saban at Superior Grill once during the Wednesday night call in show right before the big Georgia game that we pulled out with the Skyler Green catch. Looking at him alot this year on the sideline and this past press conference. Definitely not the same man that I met. Always intense but just seems to be over the top now and like he is ready to blow a gasket. Hope his health is okay because it seems as though his blood pressure Could be sky high at this time.

Yeah I guess because we won nobody said much but if Miles went for a 4th and 1 from HIS OWN 20 trailing 14-7 in the first half with a hurt qb the media would have roasted Miles win or lose. Unforgivable loses to ULM,Iowa,UAB,Auburn getting out coached by Miles last year, Utah loss. Seems like people over look his screw ups a lot quicker than they ever did Miles. I can come up with alot more.

Don't tease us with the gossip. Spill it. Talk bad about him like he's Ms. Johnson's feet.
