Not that I’m a fan of the O hire...but it would be great to not see Miles’ name mentioned so much on the rant. Let’s move on.

I am most certain that Ensminger was not his first choice. I believe that Kiffin would have been the better hire. Regardless Ed O will be held accountable for either the success or failure of the OC hire. Let’s wait for the first 3 games to evaluate how the offense is managed before we scrutinize a hypothetical perception of what is going to look like.

Were U paying attention in the 2016’ season. Led the SEC in yards per play and averaged over 36 points a game. Way above Canada’s out put on offense last year

That is not remotely true. When Miles hired Cam, most thought his NFL pedigree was the perfect fit for LSU

Yep. I was pumped when we brought Cam on board.

I was REALLY pumped when we brought Canada on board.

I was suicidal and now I'm apathetic with Ensminger calling the shots..

We're less talented with worse coaches than when Miles was here. It doesn't necessarily mean we'll do worse, but I'm not holding my breath.

People won't like this, and it's only fair to at least wait and see.. but it sure seems like we have not improved much from where we were.

We shall see though. Hope it either works or we can actually go a new direction soon.

Does the fact that they’ve been friends for nearly 40 years mean he is gonna use the tight ends more and no longer run the toss dive??

I agree with your point but don't get the hate for the toss dive. When Fournette was at LSU, it was easily the most effective play in the playbook that was run with any consistency.

How many of Leonard's long TD runs came on toss dives, sweeps and counters? If memory serves me, it was a lot.

Why LSU has not generated a legitimate offense for years is mystifying.
The best LSU offenses in history (scoring) have come since 2000.
Miles owns 4 and Saban has 1.
We've been through this before, so doubt you'll ever look it up and shut up.

LSU fans are part parrot and repeat everything they hear on TV to sound cool.
It was almost always power, counter, or zone toss after Grimes, not a dive.
Miles should've run more toss sweep with it for better emol respect, but it's a good play and used by quite a few college and pro teams.

It turned out to be a poor hire the following year once people realized that Cameron can't coach young/undeveloped QBs to save his life.

Yep, because those QBs transferred, got better and went on to be yuge stars at respective programs.

Jennings 12/8 TD/INT Miles/Cameron
Harris 20/10 TD/INT Miles/Cameron

Jennings and Hudspeth/Munoz 11/13 TD/INT
Harris with Fedora/Heckndork(sp) 1/8 TD/INT

Rantards gonna rant.

They sure as hell thought they could develop them or they wouldn't have brought them in. They brought those QBs in bc they thought that they could develop them into decent QBs and win big with them.

They were both wrong and if they had gotten a decent one with L Fournette and Guice in the backfield, then we win more games BUT that's not what happened was it?

Pardon my terminology. I didn't play football past high school and that was almost 20 years ago so I'm a bit rusty with my verbiage.

By sweep, I just meant a run outside the tackles that wasn't a counter. Please forgive me if I used the wrong word there.

Miles was canned for his offensive coordinator choice...Ogeron will be fired for the same reason.

Miles was constantly compared to Saban.

If you are going to follow the most successful coach in the schools history, you are gonna have some big shoes to fill.

When ensminger called plays out of Cameron’s playbook ?

If that’s what’s y’all want so badly , then LSU should have hired Cameron instead of Sullivan to work with Ensminger.

Miles was ripped to shreds because Cam didn't produce...simple as that. Not because, like you say, just for hiring Cam. Get the facts straight, Negatiger.
