The LSU program just rose another step on the ladder of national respect. When Les turned down Michigan to stay at LSU that means that LSU is clearly an elite program - not a stepping stone program.

As quirky as Les is and knowing full well it is certain he will continue to drive me crazy at other times in future seasons, I'm pleased Coach Miles is staying with LSU as our football coach. His goofiness is part of the package that has brought us an amazing football winning record. Fasten your seats and enjoy the rest of the ride!

I'd bet too that Miles approaches the 2011 season with some extra fire in his belly--the SEC West is the premier division in college football, with 2 other NC-winning coaches and a third (Petrino) who is considered a football genius. I can hardly imagine Miles just kicking back, enjoying his fat salary, and letting these other coaches shite on him. I'm sure he wants more than anything to rip their hearts out on the field. I hope he does.

Great news! I'm glad he and more seasons of exciting LSU football are coming back. This definitely cements LSU as an elite program in the national consciousness. He not only did it once but TWICE! Time for ALL LSU fans to step up and support the guy.

Glad you're still a Tiger, Coach!
