Ok

The defense didn't execute and Mett went crazy turning the ball over.

Has a lot to do with coaching.

Wut? Pretty sure he has bigger things to worry about like perhaps preparing for the #1 team on the road?

Psshh...I promise you that Ole Miss is the last thing on his mind. He probably is concerned. LSU does not match up well with Alabama this year. This is probably the first time he's seen a talent and experience gap on his squad compared to the opponent since he has been at LSU. He probably foresees 3 in a row against him and the LSU fan base growing even more disgruntled.

ETA: Also, if LSU wins next Saturday, then the Ole Miss game will haunt him.

Actually think our offense matches up fine with their defense this year. It's our defense to their offense, particularly their running game that worries me. If our defense could stop somebody, I would have even more confidence we win this game. Right now I am 50/50. We have a legit shot at winning if guys come to play, and coaches don't make stupid calls like last year.

they better be getting the OL ready to handle more stunts and blitzing than they have seen all year.

Miles knows that Saban will run up 65 points on him this year if LSU doesn't come to play. he better be working with Chavis on a way to get some stops on 3rd down or cause some take aways

My guess is he can't believe his defense. They aren't able to wrap runner up and tackle him. Runner getting lots of extra yards after contact. Not being able to stop the run is so not LSU football. Suspect he has his concerns about our not matching up well with Bama. Bama defense going to be in our backfield all night long unless Mett is on his game and pick up on those plays and dumps ball off quickly. Pocket QB got to feel that blitz coming and find open recevier or through the ball away. Will have to wait and see which Mett shows up for the game.

Him bragging about how many JR's we put in the NFL is going to haunt him this year and maybe the next 2 years..

We don't have the look of being a championship team on Defense...Young, thin and light in the pants

The phrase "Defense wins Championships"...rings so true!

that's why Saban wins... He fields an stiff defense every year.. He gets key players to stick around for the "program"

Maybe not, but I'm sure thinking about that nice pay check he gets helps him out some.
