Miles didn't put that jackass in the first round, the scouts did.

when you say "most underclassmen", who exactly are you referring to?

Zack Lee will NEVER take a meaningful snap at QB for LSU. IF he is as good at baseball as suspected, he will be drafted highly after his 3rd baseball season at LSU. Z.Lee will certainly be redshirted in 2010. In 2011 there is NO WAY he beats out a senior(Jefferson) who has 3 years starting experience. In 2012, Chris Garrett will be a Senior and Z. Lee a reshirt sophmore so Garrett likely gets the job b/c of seniority. Lee then gets drafted in baseball in the spring and is gone from LSU likely without ever taking a meaningful snap at QB.

You mean like he did with Peterson, Lafell, and Randle?

I agree with your point, however Lafell redshirted so he's not a good example. JJ, on the other hand, started 2 games as a true freshman QB so your point that LM could well opt to play another TF QB if he felt it necessary. Personally I would hope it would not become necessary to start a TF QB this coming season. Really hope ZL can RS in football if he indeed is on campus come fall. In baseball he would not redshirt, barring injury.

That's how I read it too. Miles essentially saying you could make more $ if you stick to football.
