I think you'll see the opposite. Rather than running bunch sets to try and shake loose and confuse bracket coverage, I expect LSU will go empty and spread them out to try and force Clemson to declare its intention early. :geauxtigers:...
There's a strong likelihood they've been promised to incoming recruits....

Game 1 Safeties will more likely be Mills and Thompson(if fully recovered)/Jefferson. Adams may take over mid-season, but they're going to put experience back there against Wisconsin to make all the checks. Also, I'd expect to see a lot of bodies on the DL this year. Big rotation. :geauxtige...

Maybe another back-end heavy contract like Cameron's for a coach who will still see residuals from a former NFL gig? Also, Stud was drawing a pretty hefty check, was he not?...
He doesn't have any TE position experience. Maybe Frank becomes "Associate Head Coach", Juluke to Running Backs Coach and Henry absorbs TE's with pay bump...or some other title juggling?...
What goes on in the red zone is a much bigger deal that the other stuff we are talking about.
I don't disagree that it made a difference in the final score; but it didn't change the outcome of the game. TCU got the better of the bad officiating overall, but it wasn't enough to get...

re: When does Hill see the field?

After that unbelievably awful fumble by Blue, I think Hill starts vs UAB, though I'm not sure that Magee doesn't deserve it for playing so well last Sat. Hillwatch 2013 is over now that the big opener is in the books. He'll play and it won't make much of a ripple outside the fan base....

re: Speed
We seem to have no speed on our kick off team.
Incorrect. What we did lack on Saturday is a guy like Mathieu, Claiborne, Peterson or Russell Shepard that could run down just about anyone if the coverage team got out of their lanes (which they did on the TCU return). Some of the y...

It was, overall, a pretty atrociously officiated game. In the end, I thought it was bad enough both ways that the poor calls (and no-calls) generally offset each other by not changing the outcome of the game....
Someone said Beckwith rushed the passer but I think they're FOS I can't find him
Early in the game...first or second quarter. He definitely lined up at DE...watching the replay now....
Barrow, Welter, Tahj Jones (at least game 1) with heavy rotation. I think it's Barrow, Beckwith, Alexander by mid-season...still gonna see heavy rotation I'd think....
I think the fact that Louis is a little light in the seat is the reason he'll be rotating with Welter. I think Welter will see the majority of the snaps vs power run teams and Louis more against the spread. Of course, with the spread, we're more likely to go to 2 LBs anyway, and that will be Barro...
Won't happen while Les is coach at LSU. He said he won't schedule them. In fact had chance to play them in bowl and Les didnt want to. Doesn't want to beat up on his alma mater
This....
Good for him...I'm glad to see a La guy make good. I hope he tears it up for Tulane! :) We could use some good news for the Green Wave on the gridiron....
I had to turn it off. Did they talk to Cam or Chief on air??...
