their carries won't be even but we will def see a mix of running backs in all situations throughout the season

i really don't have a problem with this either.

as a defensive player, the prospect of this has got to be frightening.

even though I hate alabama this puts into perspective how beastly the running backs they bring into that school, they really have a 2 RB system and their last two RBs have been in the hiesman race.

Different question..If Miles does give the bulk of the carries to only 2 backs instead of 4-5, does someone put up Heisman discussion worthy numbers behind that stout OL??

Do yall think Ware/Ford/Blue gets invited to the combine after this season? Any of them? They're all juniors.....

I know one thing I wish LSU would do more of is have a 2RB back field more often like hillard at the FB spot and Hill or Ford at the RB spot. So you can hand it to the hilliard, or fake it to Hillard and toss it to Ford. Tough offense to handle as a D

the more i think about it, the more it points to LSU never having a back w/ that kind of #'s as long as we have the fresh legs behind him.

miles seems to like pounding new people into the D, trying to wear them down.

despite what some think Miles lets his RB coach determine the reps, and Wilson has always said he wants one or 2 guys to be the main guys. Which we did last season until injuries.

Porter was responsible for the random RB rotation in prior years, he wasn't too well liked amongst his players

I don't think we have a talented enough running back to be able to do this. Plus this won't happen so waste of time to discuss it.

all depends on this season.

if they have similar yrs to last yr, probably not as jr's.

I could care less if they win a NC

He would have to put up some pretty decent numbers this season, but I can definitely see Blue getting invited with his speed and ability.

I am saying it right now: do not write off Ware. He is a wrecking crew with a vicious spin move after contact and he always keeps the ball high.

I don't see the point in limiting it to 2 when the 4 man rotation literally carried us to the nc

It will definitely be the two who play.

I would go with Hilliard and Ware. Hilliard would wear them down and Ware would come in busting spin moves in the 4th.

I think it's Hilliard and Blue, followed by Ware and Ford.

Do we redshirt Terrance Magee? I hope so.

I think it will be Blue and Hilliard, based on the end of last season. Or, maybe Ford and Hill. How can you go wrong with either set?

I am tired of Spencer Ware having 17 carries for 48 yards or something, though. The number of times he just ran into the line and put his head down as the season progressed, got ridiculous.

No, ford isn't as effective outside the option. He really doesn't have the field vision the others do. I remember about six different runs where he missed a wide open cutback lane and ran straight into a lb

You do realize he does his job which is to wear down defenses early in games.

Blue and Ware. I love Blue's vision. Dude always finds the crease. And if Ware can get back to his freshman year size, he will be dominate.
