"We told him, 'Listen, you've got to use your flipper. You've got to use your forearm. But then you have to wrap up,'" Miles joked.

"I want you to know that we were disappointed in his effort to be honest with you. We felt like he could've knocked him down a little bit."

It's all part of Les Miles' genius 4-4-4 scheme.

Did he really say those things?

If so, that's pretty damn funny.

Ha-ha. This will inevitably be used by Miles detractors to misuse the quotes against him in the future.

Where does he get some of these gems? I think he just makes up words as he goes along.

Yesteday on College Football Live, idiot Jesse Palmer said, "Maybe I'm wrong, but if that ref wasn't there I think Garcia had a seam and maybe could have scored."

First off--he is wrong.
Next, the same safety would have tackled him, and two others were bearing down on him.

I don't know, dude. That camera angle looked deceptive to me, and Garcia could scramble like a MOFO. It would have been very close at best.

Give credit where it's due - that dude gave our defense fits

No, he wouldn't have tackled him, Curtis Taylor woulda taken his head off.

The ref saved Garcia a much, much bigger hit.

Who cares? They scored a TD anyway...so it doesnt really matter. Now if they had called the RB short of the goal line like they should have and the half had ended 10-10...then im sure this would be a lot bigger deal.

What makes him even more of an idiot is that he thinks it matters whether he would have scored or not. South Carolina DID score (according to the refs) on that possession anyway. LSU would have been better off if he had scored on that play, because we would have had about 2 minutes to score before halftime instead of 22 seconds.

the ref played ball at Kentucky...I guess that explains his inability to wrap up

Now, now. You have to admit he had pretty good form overall.

NC Tigah,
