Southern Cal-posting on their fan site about Miles being in the mix there-pretty favorable comments. Also Steve Smith on Fox sports claimed he had some "scoop" from a reliable source it may be happening.....

Not making this up-go check it out!!! "Miles emerged Monday because of media reports he might get fired. Miles, who averaged 10 victories per season at LSU, would have the added bonus of being able to bring his defensive line coach, Ed Orgeron.

That would be a smoother transition with Orgeron as recruiting coordinator. Orgeron’s told friends he would be willing to return to USC. Whether athletic director Pat Haden would welcome him back after Orgeron stormed off in 2013 could be another matter.

The I-formation would be a big hit there.

He wouldn't make it half a season there

Might actually work. He needs a power program where recruiting is 99% of the game. USC is such program. Any other place for Miles, and he is going to fail miserably.

Would be awesome. I'd love to see it.

Sometimes just getting to a new place does wonders

He's already shown his style of offense can win there. Remember Oregon, the PAC 12 champs in 2011. Also look at Stanford.

Miles to USC would be terrible for LSU. You think trying to ward of Saban is hard, now imaging having to ward off Saban from the east and a Miles led USC from the west each and every year.

I personally think he would well there. Those defenses have been built to stop the spread.
