Miles was fired for deceiving the admin and fan base.
If O goes after an OC like Eddie Gran, he's breaking his commitment.

It's a little scary how O is repeating some of the same mistakes/coaching as he did at OM.

Miles couldn't change. Maybe O can't either. We are who we are, I guess. The dog returns to its own vomit.

O has been more like a politician. He used that approach to get the job.

What mistakes has he made? Canada is still on staff and after listening to his presser he's still repeating coach O "one team one heartbeat" spheel in his interviews. Don't sound like a guy who is going anywhere to me. So elaborate

I have never heard even one person say they think O has done a good job because "he is one of us". The only place it ever gets said is by anti coach O types who attack the rest of the fan base and claim they say it or believe it. This board is a crock of shite.

right exactly. Care to elaborate on these so called mistakes? No one could have predicted that Canada was such a thin skinned idiot. At the time people liked his offense, which there is nothing wrong with, but had no reason to believe that he was a bi-polar thin skinned person of such delicate nature.

dispite that, perhaps Canada can come to the realization that he is the O coordinator and not the HC. But the HC shouldn't be expected to handle him with kid gloves.

He said that he was going to let his coordinators coach. Didn't hold true for the offense. And don't tell me that Canada had 100% of the reins after Troy. O still has his thumb on it. Like he's told you, he's the head coach.

While I agree about O. Miles never said he will change the offense. That was made up here.

Who's melting? I'm not going to give O a pass on a 'bait and switch.' Are you? We need the best OC available, and it ain't that guy from Kentucky. We don't have to hire an OC that had an O connection. If so, that speaks volumes of what O is made of and where the program is heading. LET the coaches coach their specialty.

Every head coach has input on how they scheme, plays in the game plan, how they want to attack and defend an opponent. I don’t know what makes anyone think any coordinator has 100% control of his side of the ball...it’s naive to think that way.

Which is fine but don't run your mouth about letting the coaches coach and not mettle than go and do just that.

The hipocracy on this board is see inspiring, there were endless posts about Miles mettling with O and hr needed to gtfo the offense. Now it's not a problem?
