Miles flirted w/ Mich (2x) + Arky, I'm fine with how this is going

He would have bolted in a heartbeat had Michigan persued him like they did Harbaugh
And the whole Arkansas flirtation that resulted in his $15 million buyout? Arkansas, really?
He proved time and time again that it was all about business. So now that he's on the losing end of a buisness deal, people act like "How could we treat him like that?"
LSU is not even in the Top 25, and didn't finish there last year. That's unacceptable for a coach who is paid Top 10 money. If he wanted to stay around until he retired, he should have acted like he wanted to retire here, and then earned it on the field

Love how all you idiots keep going on and on about how this is just business. Like great businesses just make $20-$25 million moves off knee jerk reactions.

A lot of businesses don't blink an eye over a 25 million dollar purchase/sale/commitment
.

Then explain Miles' need to rewrite his contract when Arky came calling? He wasnt entertaining leaving, he was doing what was best fro Miles
Now LSU is doing what is best for the program
Thats how it works
And dont forget, Miles was the first one that starting this tit for tat, by agreeing to meet with Mich. president after the BCS game of 2007

I think this has been in the works in some form or another since the Miles the Arkansas fiasco. Alleva didn't appreciate being put in that position I'm sure.

He had been here for what, 3 seasons and his alma mater called. Of course he was gonna at least sit down and talk to them. Who wouldn't at least speak to the AD of their alma mater out of respect.

I watched us open the season with neutral site wins against TCU and Wisconsin. Watched us give Auburn their lone loss in a title game season. Watched us beat a ranked Florida team... three times. Watched us ruin the season of 3rd ranked and undefeated South Carolina and ole miss. Saw the most prolific offense in school history with Mett, Jarvis, Odell, and hill. And watched us beat Texas A&M every god damn time we played them.
Sure.. we have no trophies over the last 4 years. But I've enjoyed the hell out of a lot of games.

Damn you people are stupid. That shite happened as a direct of result of Les not getting any recognition for the 2011 season. Yes we laid an egg in the championship game. That shite sucked and I was as butthurt over it as the next guy. BUT coaches who have seasons like 2011 don't end the year with no recognition from their school. Alleva didn't bother to offer anything so Les took matters into his own hands. Alleva is a shitty AD and we are all going to end up paying for his incompetence soon.
