In the games that matter, Miles is mediocre at best the last 4 seasons. He loses out and he should resign or be ushered out.

It's time for miles to go. It's a great opportunity to lure a great coach in. If Miles is canned you will see coaches who you wouldn't expect to leave "THEIR" dream job throw their hat in the mix

For a raise, sure they would. See the DC search from last year on how difficult it is to hire college coach's these days. We would be stuck hiring a second rate head coach and this fan base would want to run him out of town by the second year. We're worse than UT with Strong and would never give the next guy a true chance

I am but should not be surprised at the outpouring of negative responses to people who simply question the idea that the coach must be fired immediately and by what seems to be a desire that the team lose the next two games so that the demand for termination can be somehow justified. This looks like one of those social justice avalanches, where anyone who disagrees is shouted down, disgraced and destroyed. I am disappointed in the fan base. And yes, I think changes must be made, but I am far from demanding that someone be fired. I remember Mike Archer and Curly Hallman. LSU could do much worse than Les Miles.

Miles will "retire", to be with family, great run for 10 years, etc.

If that was the case it would be a mutual separation. Negotiations and deals will be made. Lsu gets a financial break, miles leaves with dignity.

I'm no fan of Miles, but he does deserve that much.

While we all would love to believe this, what leads you to think it's true?

Give me some names.

Guess this would apply to Coach Spurrier as well since inconsistent QB play was pretty much a constant for his recent teams

Horrible comparison, being that Spurrier quit his job midseason.

2 weeks to prepare for bama, our biggest game since the 2012 NC and this coaching staff does absolutely zero in terms of preparation. They've gotten comfortable and lazy.

Its not about losing 2 games. Its about how we lost those games.

And its about hiring Kevin Steele. He is fricking terrible and will prove to be Les Miles' version of Lou Tepper.

When a team has all seniors at every position, it signals poor recruiting. That one year will be great followed by yrs of famine until the next class of all seniors. In a perfect world, minus attrition, each rising class contributes about 25-35% of your starters. Perfect recruiting classes prevent " we're a young team". But it is hard to develop recruiting classes by need and maturity when so many leave early.

It's not just this year, it's last year also and 2 or 3 others. Ugly , sloppy football is just getting old with most of us. For +$4 mil a year we should at least a little execution and a 250+ yrd passing game to balance the offense

Either they are awful at evaluating QB talent or they are awful at developing QBs. Pick one.

and Spurrier recognized he wasn't getting the job done and quit.
