Whose fault is it we did not open it up? Players? No!! When you win every stat imaginable (meaning players did what they needed to do) and still lose....who's fault is that? Players? No...someone explain to me please, who is at fault for these last 3 LSU losses????
No, Miles fumbled OBJ's long bomb. You're right.

Thank you? And Miles is stupid. You make my point
None of you buffoons want to step up and talk ball, all you can say is "he wins 82% of his games"...or try to make it personal. And that is weak

You're not any better at making your points than you are at reading comprehension.

I was talking to DrD but since you felt the need to tell me your two cents, this:
Has nothing to do with the boneheaded statement the OP posted
Sounds like you and the OP share the same brain.
I've met Miles several times and I can assure you the last thing he is is arrogant.
If his coaching style ruffles your feathers, deal with it.

Nope. I've never met Obama either and I think he is an underachiever as well. What's your point?

One play does not win or lose again. Next?

These same fans feel that he did everything in his power to win the NC game last year as well.
I don't think I've met a single LSU fan who believes this. Now you're just making shite up.

The real rub is that LSU could/should have lost a few more games in this "glorious" stretch but our talent and "will to win" has been nothing short of amazing - despite our deficiences on the coaching side of the game.
Amazing how the passing game opened up when multiple receivers were sent out in space to same side of the field. Mett made great decisions and the coaches did a great job preparing the kids to succeed on Sat. night. I was very, very impressed with the passing game. Just wish Miles would have dialed up one more passing play when we needed it the most - TO WIN THE GAME!
Enough already as they say. This post has gotten far more feedback than I had expected. I was just making a case for why LSU is not winning these games against Ala. and I think most of the fan base will agree we are simply getting out-coached. 'Bama has nothing on LSU talent-wise. Saban can count his lucky stars he got off the hook Sat. night. LSU should have won the game. They were clearly the better team. I hope ATM kicks their arse! Geaux Tigers and Geaux Aggies!

Uh, no. I would talk football with someone who wants to discuss it. You simply are an anti-Miles troll so why waste time discussing football with you. You have no interest in discussing football. You have yet to discuss football in this thread.
I would much prefer to show you for what you really are.

we have a niece who sees miles on a regular basis at his sons basebal games. if i remember correctly, her son and miles' son play travel ball together. she says he is just a regular guy, and a real good , friendly person to boot, but she says they are surprised every time he finds the baseball field by himself.

So it was just the talent that got it done. We were just lucky to have talent. Got it.

Jax,
Why don't you go back and read my thread on Mett...there is more to the story. I answered a reply of yours and never heard back. I nailed the Mett situation perfectly. Prior to Alabama game I got blasted for "questioning the coaches"...low and behold I was right. If you have read my post, my biggest issues with Miles is he ignores the basic fundamentals of the game. You can't argue when 8 are in the box and you only have 7 blocking that's not a good situation to put your team in. If you are a running team, why not use play action. For the first time last week, we used bootlegs with more than 2 Wrs. That's my issue, to clarify

How's it not obvious that our passing game has improved ever since Mett quit taking kill shots and our receivers finally started getting off of the line of scrimmage. I don't think formation has anything to do with it. It's not like we were all of a sudden running complex layered routes. We had protection and we had better releases by our WR's which translates to rhythm and usually success.
Teams and players do get better over the course of a season.

Since a lot of you people, like Dr.D and company, question Miles coaching ability, then I pray to God that he will leave. I would love to see what "quality" and proven coach LSU could get. Some of ya'll forget the crap that LSU had to endure with Archer, DiNardo, Hallman, etc. If you like losing to teams like Kentucky which we did under a poor coaching staff, then go ahead and bash Miles. If you like to attend home games with an average of 35,000 fans, then bash Miles again. Saban will NEVER coach at LSU again. Saban will probably retire at Bama. You people need to live with the fact that we will face Saban every year. Again, what coach could LSU lure that will have a winning record against Saban? Some of you people are idiots and for the benefit of Miles, I hope that he leaves and I will love to come back and talk with DrD and company, when LSU goes back to being a bottom feeder. DrD and company beteer be careful what they wish for. I would love to see Miles leave and have LSU endure a couple of losing seasons. I was there for the good and bad times in TS. I want to see DrD and friends having to endure seasons like we did under Hallman. DrD, since Miles can't beat Bama, he needs to be terminated immediately.

No, no, no! Not when Les Miles is the coach. And if improvement is made, it's only because the players are supremely talented and overcome Miles' coaching.
I learned all of the above from the Rant.
