Exactly, people need to calm down, did they think Mett was going to walk in to spring pracice & simply take over??

The seniority myth that so many morons on this board constantly post about and believe is absolutely hilarious. Anyone who believes that miles doesn't play the best player instantly labels themselves as people that you shouldn't take seriously.
Because most of these morons never played a down of real football in their lives.
An old coaching axiom says sophmores will get you beat.

I hope Lee does well. Gotta give props to the guy for staying at LSU after all the shite he had thrown his way his freshman year (and rightfully so).
Most people would have transferred after that.

I really hope that Krag is what was needed to make JJ a top-notch SEC QB. He has a ton on talent just has made too many bad decisions.

Maybe just maybe - the "offensive" system is all Miles. Crowton may have just taken the fall.

I was really hoping that when Crowton left, we'd get an entirely new offensive system. It sounds like that is definately not the case.
Coach,what offense do you use?

Just an FYI, Kragthorpe ran the short side option at Louisville.

old being the operative word, 3 of the last 4 Heisman winners have been sophomores.
I'm sure 30 years ago Vince Dooley regretted going with a true freshman RB.

Be careful, they don't like the truth around here.

Here is something else to consider. When Crowton came in LSU ran a combo of his offense and Jimbo's offense because Flynn spent his entire career under Jimbo.
Why do people think the the offensive scheme will be completely different when we are only 2/3 done with freaking spring ball?

You do realize that every team that runs the option, also runs short side option?

and what does that mean? Was it Le's fault that Crowton's offenses regressed every where else he coached? This dude called it.

You’re right Lance. LSU looked great last night. I mentioned they would do well this year. It would be nice to see them up against USC though. Now about halfway through next season you will see LSU start losing games, if history repeats it

The offense Crowton has run is not compatible with what Miles wants or the personnel LSU had really. Where Crowton seems to be lacking is in QB development. That's what Kragthorpe was hired for. If the QB play improves so will the offense.
ETA: Check out how Dennis Dixon in 2006 with GC and 2007 with Kelly

The players people don't want starting now are the same players people wanted to start 2 years ago. If you aren't a 2-time All-American by the time you are a junior you might as well just transfer

Don't snap on Lee-the kid stepped in last year and saved our asses in a couple of key games-he is a good QB and pressure doesn't get to him-a sold back-up and probably a starter at another program.
