I know you can’t be happy about this possibility. You said Milam looked like a little leaguer at SS and Braswell was good there defensively.

Here’s the thing though: he didn’t say it, Milam literally said it on air and it just so happened to be on Moscona’s show

Milam is capable of playing SS. Why would I be unhappy

I would imagine you don't want someone who looks like a little leaguer at a position, no? Especially if we have a better option at that position.

Capable but limited range being that short

He looked like a little leaguer on one play. Just like Jake brown did in the super regional trying to catch a fly ball. I don’t want either to never play again.

That really stuck with you, huh? It will be ok, I promise:

I never said you did. But you cited it whenever people suggested swapping Milam and Braswell.

Yeah because that was right around the time when you went on some tangent about how you hate it when posters shite on players and you don’t do that.

I agree he would seem to be limited in range at a position that gets a large amount of balls sprayed over a lot of ground. Even high choppers / liners

If he reacts faster than someone like tommy, then the height makes no difference

Everyone acting like range is based on height has never played baseball. It's about reaction. If he gets the fastest jump on the ball then it doesn't matter. The balls in the 5-6 hole that only the 6'3 can nab, won't be an out if he can't get up fast enough

Best ever? He is good, but let's not get carried away. Todd Walker, Ryan Theriot, Warren Morris come to mind.

I said best defensively specifically, not overall second baseman.

Walker’s number one on the list for who I would want as my second baseman in the history of LSU.

true but it's not always just laterally. High choppers, line drives, high throws into 2B etc. It's nice to have length

Milam was not groomed or ready to play SS full time last year. Jay Johnson seemed to think so too. Not sure why you think that was a hot take lol

It was just something that I would’ve liked to see more. I don’t know why you think it was some hot take to want to see Milam at SS more now that Jay Johnson wants to see it as well. Just like you wanted Kling at lead off and Neal in the lineup. Some people think differently.

Not even sure how that makes sense

Oh, you don’t have to tell me. Some know ball, some don’t. I get that

It wasn't some hot take for someone to say they wanted to see more of Milam at SS.
