Is hilariously accurate. I live in Lafayette and can echo everything he says. They are so dick envy of LSU. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and give it a watch. It's from the 42:39-45:08 mark.

The little brother syndrome is rampant with a decent sized portion of the USL fan base. If you live in Lafayette you’re acutely aware of this.

Being from Monroe, I can tell you there is a small number of ULM die hards that are exactly the same way (even though ULM is only competitive in water skiing). It's great for them to love their team but to criticize others for not loving their team just shows their jealousy.

Lol you shoot buck shot in the crowd and don’t hit anybody. Don’t know if that was the best line or the chuck steak at Golden Corral line. I live in Lafayette and man it is so true. Almost forgot got about the 12 million dollars from the state to fund the athletics program line. Such a great take.

I guess that’s why I don’t get it. I’m from Sulphur and graduated from UL, mainly because it was cheaper and I was paying cash.
I’m still an LSU fan, but I also root for my alma mater.

frick ULL fans. I use to pull for them years ago until I started working in Lafayette. Their fans are miserable fricks who hate LSU.

I lived in Lafayette for 8 years. I was shocked by their culture of hate towards anything LSU. It truly is amazing to see.

I live in Lafayette and it’s pretty comical how much most of them despise LSU. I root for them and go to baseball and football games regularly but their fans are so eaten up with little brother syndrome it’s like they’re happier if LSU fails than if they actually succeed. Plenty of sidewalk Bama fans out here as well. Yet they can’t seem to get more than 10-15 thousand fans on average at their football games when it’s so easy and cheap to go tailgate for UL football.

ULL knows that LaTech is the second best collegiate athletic program in the state. Delusional fanbase who gave the gift of Sunbelt Billy to Florida. For that I will always be grateful.

It’s unfortunately true. Not all, or even most, but a sizable portion. I grew up in NO and grew up hating the Greenies, never really had a strong opinion on USL. Even partied with some of their fans in Omaha in 2000 and loved when they beat the Aggies in football. Then I moved to Lafayette. Took about 6 months and the dipshits made me hate everything USL. The little brother chip on the shoulder is actually a boulder.
