I'll give your props if true.
Emmert was the best we had in a long time. Jindal getting him back would be a coup.

Got nothing to do with Jindal.

Hates his new job with the NCAA?
Posted on 5/25/12 at 4:51 pm to lurkr
Why would he leave his current position forth return?

Emmert left LSU after Blank-stare beat Jindal in 2004.

Maybe he will take Alleva with him. If he does we will have unloaded a ton of the dead wood hanging around.

You had my hopes up until I saw that. You're not smart enough to be in the know.

Why wait till August, Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Mike Martin is the administrative equivilent to Curly Hallman. I actually think it took Martin less time to alienate more people. Maybe Hallman was superior. I guess the village in Fort Collins found what they were looking for.

Easy choice for him. He's going to lead a school in a state that actually gives a shite about education.
La will just keep doing the same retarded shite of keeping way too many 4 year schools and bleeding them all dry because no politician has the balls to really push some closures and mergers.

Kind of ironic isn't it?
People blamed Emmert's departure on her but Jindal has arse raped LSU far more than her and totally laid waste to Emmert's vision of being a flagship!
Emmert won't walk back into the shithole that Jindal and hus cronies are making of LSU.

It's pretty sad when a university chancellor can't pull off correct pronoun usage in his carefully penned exit letter.

Count me as in the "he may come back" camp

I'll post the same thing I did in the OT thread on it...

Bobby Jindal is running this state into the ground. That sounds like a typical political exaggeration; it isn't.
ETA: I find it refreshing how even conservatives on this site can see how terrible the Jindal administration has been for LSU and the State of Louisiana.
