Wondering the same thing. It was a blow out after early 2nd quarter.
31-3 seems after 13-0 lead seems like a blowout to me, you?

This is what makes me hope for a decent season: 100% correct

State's defense is legit, I just hate how much screen time their defensive coordinator got. Dude looks like an idiot on the sideline. But they returned something ridiculous, like 9 starters on defense this season. In all honesty, that's probably one of the best defenses LSU will face all season. Lot of seniors on that defense last night.

18 sure wasn’t fatigued
worth noting neither were nickel/DBs/Ss - in the 4th they were making critical defended passes where earlier in the game they were there for quick tackles (and some missed ones).

And that's against an air raid. In the 4th Qtr.

What happens when you get throttled. Your quarterback gets off by a beat and receivers start anticipating getting pummeled. They got their asses beat. They were fatigue and it wasn’t even close to the same level. 21 points in the fourth quarter speaks to how gas they were.
LSU tackled in space all night and Jay Ward made them pay.

You’re an idiot if you think those defensive lineman from LSU were “fatigued”. LSUs Oline pushed their shite in.

Explain how I'm making excuses I'm simply pointing out what happened - FACT

I rewatched how the balls were high and behind at times. When the ball is coming out at different angles and the timing is off, that is the difference and why they seem like “drops” when in reality a lot of it is caused by breaking up the timing. Their offense is ALL about timing. They cannot get off script.

Secondly, St was gifted a shite load of no calls in the first half.

Lastly, Kelly specifically stated how the conditioning made a difference.

I thought that conditioning was an issue while I watched it. Surprising a coach would admit he didn’t have his team in condition.

My buddy, who is a huge State fan, told me the game was over when he heard how loud the crowd was at the start of the 4th quarter. He said that Leach was coaching to get the game over before the 4th quarter so the crowd wouldn't be a factor. '

We’re good at pressuring teams defensively, getting turnovers. Offensively, we have to push the ball down the field.

If LSU was fatigued late in the game, his team should have had more success, not less.

Then you are wrong too, because our players didn’t play like they were fatigued in the 4th quarter. Leach was trying to cover with that bullshite answer.

You wanna see a defense get fatigued? We should run up tempo every single play. Jayden is built for that. He will never get fatigued. Fast and skinny. Dude can run all day long. When the defense is tired, it’s over. Like in second quarter. Don’t know why no one else sees this?

Question:  What did you see from the LSU defense?

Leach:  I thought they were kind of basic, except they have a lot of veterans over there.  There are guys on that defense older than I am.
