Mike Leach is on XM 143 right now and said that there is no finer place to play football than at tiger stadium! He talked about fans mooning the visiting team bus' coming to the stadium, Mike the Tiger next to the entrance where the opposing team enters the field and that they can't poke Mike to get him to roar anymore. The guy interviewing him is an East Carolina alumni and agreed with Leach.

Would be a great replacement for Crowton (if Leach is willing)

I don't think he'd take an OC job, you know who he'd want to replace.

Mike Leach would not make it in the SEC. His teams got destroyed by Ole Miss and Bama and neither were world beaters at the time. Well Bama didn't destroy them but they were picked to beat them.

He might, he left TTU in a bad way and may not get offered any 'premier' HC jobs.

True but if you combine his offense with 4* and 5* talent at all positions it wouldnt be stopped.

Leach did get crushed by Ole Piss because of crappy defense. As an OC, he would only have to worry about the offense and he knows the spread pretty good

I thought about saying this earlier, but didn't feel like starting the usually coaching shite storm. I interpreted this as a hint to show that he could be interested. NOT IMPLYING THAT THE CURRENT HEAD COACHING POSITION WILL/SHOULD BE ADDRESSED IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. But, hypothetically speaking, IMO I would only want Leach as a OC, not a head coach. In my honest opinion, he puts too much emphasis on the offense and not nearly enough on the defense. IMO, so please do not jump my arse, his style of coaching would not stand a chance week in/week out in the SEC.

I think LSU is a little more talented than Texas Tech. With Our players he would have us in the top 10 in offense. Then of course y'all could bitch how we gave up 21 points in a 56-21 win
