I am from West Bloomfield, Michigan, and I was up there for the Cotton Bowl/ Miles staying at LSU.
You are dead wrong. Everyone at U of M wanted Miles, and the wanted him bad. The only reason they say they don't want him now or say they are ok with him leaving is because it's a) 2.5 months later and b) they didn't get him.

Speaking of Ohio State, nothing makes me happier than to see them in more trouble. Hopefully the NCAA will get their head out of their a-s-s and vacate some wins this time around. Keep crying, OSU.

A school doesn't hold off picking their new HC till after the Cotton Bowl and send a plane full of school reps at the 11th hour of their search to meet with a coach unless there is a serious "want" to have Miles in Michigan.imo
It's just that some still can't admit they were wrong in their belief they so gleefully expressed that no one would have a "want" for Miles.

I'm happy they like LSU. I have nothing against Michigan, but just cannot get excited watching Yankees play football. To me it would be like watching Southerners play hockey.

Agreed. They are the least douche big ten school and arguably one of the best and most recognizable fight songs along with LSU

I'm currently a student at UM an I've seen a lot of people talk about wanting Les Miles. It even got to a point towards the end of last season that some of my friends were checking out LSU games to see how Miles was doing. Most of the people I know were somewhat disappointed that Miles turned UM down again. But it was cool to cheer for LSU with them.

Dude, you are not even close. Most recognizable fight songs in no particular order are Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, USC, Texas, Texas A&M, Navy, Alabama, Georgia Tech, etc. LSU is not even in the mix.
