Nothing. Exactly the point I'm making. You can't put this guy at the top of the pedestal and immediately say LSU is a NC contender when he hasn't done anything. That's stupid expectations and pretty unfair. This guy is going to fold like a lawn chair if he has 1 shitty game then this fanbase rips him to pieces due to their ridiculous demands. Like I said, the hype is unwarranted. Great that we got him and he COULD turn into something special but nobody can say that as fact. We don't even know if he would be better than what we currently have.

LSU is right in the middle of installing a brand new scheme. It's not like he's catching up to guys with years in the same system

He’s missed some important practices. It’s not so much about competing with the other guys. I’m guessing they promised him a starting job, if not right away by the 3rd game

Problem is we need good QB play out the gate, because Miami’s D is supposed to be pretty stout this year. Not to mention, game 3 is on the road at Auburn. If Burrow doesn’t start game 1, but comes in and performs better than what we already have, I’d rather him go ahead and start game 2, and get some game time work in with the rest of the offense.

So he isn’t eligible for the draft? We NEVER have Jrs leave or he is draft eligible age.

where do you think Justin McMillan or Myles Brennan would be on Ohio St's depth chart?

I’ll never forget the 40-3 win with them backup Matt Flynn, we beat them on the field — then they came in our locker room after the game wanting to fight and got beat down off the field... Their program was never the same after that game...

He has 3 1/2 months to learn a new playbook before he faces one of the top defenses in the nation in a primetime game. I Love that scenario any day of the week. Hopefully it's a good game but as long as we have a competent QB, I see us winning by a minimum of two scores.

He is. If he's good enough to go that route after this season, I'd imagine we had a great season.
Also, no, we won't be right back where we started. We'll have either Brennan or Narcisse with another year in the program. Or...both of them.

But SEC, though. And our strength is WR this year, too.

They have one good season in the last 10 years and all of a sudden they’re world beaters. UGA fans aren’t even this bad. They play home games in an empty stadium for Pete’s sake! They do NOT have the advantage at skill positions either. We just haven’t had the right QB to optimize and showcase our skilled guys. Will Burrow be that QB? We shall see. But I do believe we smash the canes.

The only way this thread might concern me is if the title was "LSU new Head Coach?!"
