Since I live in the area I'm definitely pumped to be able to see in person LSU.

I do too, but tired as hell of Jerry's World... would have preferred this to be a home/home and spend a weekend in South Beach.

I booked at the Hyatt Place by Six Flags. Don’t know much about the hotel but it doesn’t look far from the stadium.

The hotel is situated between I 20 and I 30
much closer to I 30 between Collins and AT&T Way
... just West of Six Flags (not comfortable walking distance) .. also across form TX Rangers.

Pay attention to hotels that have shuttles ...
parking should be around the $ 25 mark

Arlington has come a long way. They are doing a huge development that will connect Jerryworld and the new Rangers stadium that they are building next door.

The stadium opens in 2020 but restaurants and bars are opening next year. Not sure on the hotel. I know a brewery is going in, Lockharts BBQ, and Guy Fieris new restaurant.

This isn't the same Miami that we beat the crap out of in the chick fila bowl.

And it won't be the same LSU team next year facing Miami.

That picture with the people walking around looks great until you look closely.
They are all clones.
There are like 8 "guy in pink shirt with hands on hips" and at least 5 "uptight but hot girl in heels"

Also.. Is this where I can bitch about games like this not being home and home?
that would've been a fun series.

I’ve watched a few Miami games and they don’t really look that good. All their wins have been close and/or lucky. We’ll see how they do against Notre dame.

Back in January during winter break, I followed RHCP for a few of their tour dates, and I stayed at the Arlington KoA for a night. Not bad for a campsite. You should stay there

Humperdinks is a good spot

That pic is recent. The ballpark is retractable and the roof part is tucked away on the left

For the LSU/Oregon and the LSU/TCU games a few yrs back, we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Arlington, which was great b/c it’s about a 15 min (very safe) walk from the stadium... Being that the game next yr will prob be another 8pm start and a nightmare to get an Uber after, i went ahead and booked there again.. Lots of bars/restaurants around, and there are a couple other Marriotts on the same street, one is a TownePlace Suites and cant remember the other.. In any case, there seems to be more game-related activities going on in that area than in other areas such as downtown Dallas that weekend.

I live here and Arlington sucks. I would go to Humperdinck’s after the game until the tragic cleared but I wouldn’t stay in Arlington. Dallas isn’t my scene. My wife and I prefer Fort Worth.
