I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt since you dont watch our games last year but that's Rosier all of the time. That s how he played in most of our games. Streaky at best but what we're most upset about is that we know, or at least hope, that there's a better QB on the roster.

Missed and erratic throws all over the field.

At times, absolutely

Other times he made some really good throws against one on one coverage that eventually led to points and made the score more respectable.

He also did a good job of avoiding pressure in the pocket. Rosier could have easily been sacked 6+ times if not for his ability to scramble and avoid pressure from blitzing LBs coming in untouched. That one sidearm pass that went for 15+ yards while he was being tackled by a blitzing Delpit was a tough play.

Miami's WRs are legit btw. Much respect.

We all understand not having good QB play. We've been in that mode since 2014, and some of us even longer. I'll be rooting for Miami the rest of the season and hope your offensive struggles find the answers y'all need.

Miami will finish with a good record. Va tech and clemson are the only 2 teams in the acc that are probably better imo.

Are you sure you're not an LSU fan? The Rant's favorite player is the backup QB.

Actually, Manny Diaz got into his typical blitz every play routine and LSU started running zone to the weak side. A run off tackle isn't supposed to go for 50+.

Miami needed to force LSU to drive the ball. It was going to be tough. That was a huge tactical error that led to several big plays and gave LSU a significant lead. I know that's how Miami plays, but you have to know your opponent. Diaz is really a one trick pony, and your quality defense won't perform as good as it should in some games because of it.

Rozier was awful with pressure. And, your OL had no idea how to handle the blitz. We were getting into the backfield pretty much any time we wanted which is death for Miami with Rozier at QB.

But, the WRs looked very good. And, I think Rozier will perform better moving forward if they can give him a pocket. I had a feeling that the Miami OL was going to be the weak spot, but I didn't expect so many blown protections. We literally had a linebacker running through the 0 gap all night. That's ridiculous and I have no idea how Miami wasn't able to adjust to that.

I think Miami is going to be good this year and will end up winning 9-10 games more than likely. The biggest area of improvement needs to be on the OL. Your coaching staff needs to get its shite together.

Miami might have been overrated, but that doesn't mean your team won't end up having a good season. I think LSU just prepared well and shocked your team and coaching staff. It happens.

This is exactly what everyone has figured out starting with UNC last year, the first time we struggled. The WRs ran wide open all night as they have since last year and are continuously missed. Our OL didn't help but there was time to throw on nearly every ball he missed.

Word is Ahmmon Richards called him out on the sideline or in the locker room and was benched because of it and was not injured. Really a weak move on Richt's part if so. No need to defend the QB costing you games and dividing the locker room. Oh well.

You are thankful for the whipping?? I’ll never understand fans who are thankful for their teams loss, but I am glad LSU could oblige you.

If it was for your QB it would have been very ugly. His scrambling ability kept plays alive and got a few first downs. I thought he was your only offense

I agree. If wasn’t for him dropping several dimes on those long balls the game would have been A LOT worse.

Keep ya head up because that defense is legit! Dline replaces a lot but GWillis is a one man wrecking crew. Diaz blitzed too much imo. Y’all got enough studs to play some base. With that D Richt MUST lean on his running backs imo. He went to the flat early one time to Dallas I think and he busted off a solid gain. But he never went back to it which imo would have slowed the olber selling out to the pocket all the time. Hindsight 20/20 and all that with a million things that could be debated. But y’all matched up talent wise minus ST’s which was the biggest difference. And of course we won TO battle.

Ya but he missed some open receivers a few times on big 3rd downs. And if their wr’s don’t make great catches he misses more. Reminded me of Etling some. Except he didn’t throw picks but he got too nervous in the pocket of a team had been getting pressure and would throw ducks.

You'll like Rosier the rest of the season. He won't have to face a defense like LSU until the ACC Championship (Clemson). Even VT defense which is pretty solid is a drop off from LSU. Clemson and Alabama are probably the best defenses in CFB followed by LSU.

Don’t worry our time will come soon enough. Everybody is riding this high as long as possible because we’re fricked when the meat of the schedule gets here and that starts at Auburn.

Thanks for that. We do not bite. I think Rosier made some awesome throws. Receivers also made some great catches. The 'Cane D will keep you in games this year.

That said, I'd much rather have home and home series. What say you?

It's just one game. Y'all have a very talented team and I look forward to y'all being a big time player in the ACC title chase.
