Hey really needs to find 1-2 sharpshooters.
Someone at or close to 40% from 3
2, at least, very good perimeter shooters or we're in for another long year.

I’m no transfer portal expert, but I’d bet sharpshooters are hard to find because their roles are merely fill in spots to add a deep threat and everybody In The country is going after them

And if he plays D also will be a huge plus. It's almost as if having more NIL money is paying off. Go figure. Hope his game translates to SEC but love the size. Can't wait to see them play with an actual PG and hopefully Givens continues to improve and mature and step in when ready.

He had a 0.0 DBPM and 104 DRtg, these ranked 5th/4th on his own team. Thats an average defender. He basically doesnt affect the game positively or negatively on defense.
People always run to assume because a tall/lanky guard is a good defender simply because of their size. Defense is about mentality and then athleticism.

There's definitely plenty of guys out there who shot better than 31% from 3. Dont have to take a 40%+ guy but there's tons and tons of college shooters who live in that mid-high 30% range. But on volume is key there. Not someone who shoots 2 a game and makes less than 1 a game.

This is the thing in which I'm not excited about this one. 31% from 3 last year and he's supposed to be a 2/3 type of player? No thanks. Took him 3 years to become basically a volume scorer at Northeastern. Doesnt seem to be a good defender either. All in all a pretty mid-level pickup there. Not sure he's a starter really, depends on who else we get I suppose. Dont know why we're taking guys so many guys that cant shoot, I cant live through another year we suck from
Looks like Seneca Knight - Part 2

Really? It looks like a fairly standard McMahon class at this point. Obviously we're not done yet, but right now this is not a top half of the SEC team.

Just wait for some to come in here and poke more holes....we can't even start with a fresh slate with these people. It's all year long. If we start winning next year it'll only be "because of NIL money", so be prepared for that LSU fans.

The UNLV guard is an elite pickup, way better than anyone McMahon got from the past. The other 2 so far arent really exciting though, seem more like bench players to me.
Still have 3 more to go though

Sears averaged 23.1ppg and OVCPOY- got in the SEC dropped to 8.6ppg that’s a 66% drop and lost his starting job. He was a volume shooter and when you get those quick Guards in the SEC real basketball sets in.
Every FAN of LSU MBB wants them to improve, DUH, it’s just most of us that watch basketball a lot DO NOT think this Coach is the right Fit. Why is that so hard to understand, just look at his career highlights at LSU- oh my bad there aren’t any.
