I mean we're all aware he's on the roster. It's no disrespect, we just haven't seen or heard much about him. Scott has been lighting it up for the scout team at least.

If McMillan wins the job, then he'll have earned it.

that is true. anyone who saw him play in HS knew he wasnt a SEC quality QB.

hes a great athlete though

Put it this way, if he's your starting QB at any point this year, you have bigger problems

Neither of those things are what's most important for a QB.

Accuracy, intelligence, ability to make plays in the pocket with a pass rush around you are much more important.

Until I see that out of any QB, I just assume they don't have it.

To be fair, LSU was the only SEC team to offer either McMillian or Scott Jr.

So technically neither are "SEC Quality" QBs if you're going by offers outside of us. Scott Jr. certainly picked up a lot more overall offers though, including some other P5 offers. I think McMillian had just 1 or 2 other offers, from mid majors.

Remember, we only ended up taking Scott JR. when we struck out with Franks and a handful of other QBs and had pretty much no other options.

Intelligence isn't an issue with Justin. He's a very smart kid and will likely be a tremendous coach in time.

He's got others ahead of him, that's all. To his credit, he's team first, loves LSU and supports his teammates. Not sure why anyone would feel the need to criticize him.
