....if something happened to Danny and another QB was put in the game, I'm willing to bet Scott or one of the freshmen would go in. McMillan is inaccurate, his arm strength is suspect, and he's not fast like people like to say on her

Yet, the reports from 247 and others are that McMillan is ahead of Scott and Narcisse. You're not thinking straight if you think O is going to roll with a true freshman at QB. One of whom has not even enrolled or taken a snap in this offense.
I have no idea why there is such inflated optimism for Scott.

Everyone keeps spitting out #2 Qb is Lindsey Scott, but McMillan has a nice arm and seems to have wheels

He was a desperation scholly

Same could be said about all three. JM was predicted to be a transfer. DE was a transfer. These three have looked good in the last few weeks. The new system seems to have something for each of them.

Mcmillans armstrength is average at BEST. Who are ya'll watching?

Ball speed is his best attribute. Spring practice is pretty open. Go check him out

I don't know about inflation cause I'm no economist. But in two scrimmages, he's produced a 60+ yd td to Davis. 65 yd drive resulting in his scrambling for a td, last week. Then another 60 plus yard drive into the red zone to end the scrimmage.

Who knows what happens? But I like to hear about our guys doing well. 180+ yds in 3 drives

To be fair, LSU was the only SEC team to offer either McMillian or Scott Jr.

So technically neither are "SEC Quality" QBs if you're going by offers outside of us

Tyrann Mathieu only had 1 SEC offer too - from LSU. It was also his only P5 offer.

Carson Wentz and Aaron Rodgers didn't get a single FBS offer coming out of HS.

Did he do that against the first team D?
All I know is that folks here have a tendency to exaggerate abilities of certain players. Folks have been locked onto this kid since last fall and there is really limited evidence to support much of some of the statements about him.
I hope the young man is great.

Agreed. Will add that Scott had multiple power 5 offers. I'm also a guy who doesn't believe that SEC offers is a good barometer for QB success. It's the best conference, no doubt. But not exactly a QB haven.

I'm with ya on all accounts JohnnyU. IF/WHEN or UNTIL he gets the opportunity, people will kind a rely on what they've seen him do. His accomplishments aren't made up. That said, he has every question mark that any standout player will have coming into college (same for McMillan), in addition to his height. The reality is that many schools passed due to his height. Only time will tell if this staff will look beyond on it.

I watched two scrimmages, saw a mixture of personnel on the field. It appeared that McMillan/Scott went 2v2s. They both looked really comfortable executing the offense vs former 4 & 5 star teammates. I left feeling that these guy's provide a lot more depth than we might realize, plus provided an additional dimension to the offense.
