the over abundance of screaming children made this one of my least enjoyable pmac experiences of recent memory
Honestly man, no joke, I have no idea what our offensive identity is. None.
Posters will tell you CoachMc has the Xs and Os. We have a 24 alphabet without him.
And not even a care afterwards.

I think this game solidifies to me that offensively we’re just chalked. Our scheme is shite
Vandy played great team defense and LSU looked it like was rusty and hungover from Christmas.
Jalen Reed is a huge loss. We don't have anyone else that can consistently score in the post.

Yeah their team defense looked good when you lack off ball movement and pointlessly swing the ball around the perimeter.
How many times did we hold the ball at the top of the key and get double teamed and get turnovers? Yet we ran it every time down over and over. Vanderbilt wasn’t doing anything spectacular on defense. We just lack an intelligent offensive scheme.
Tell me are you stupid or are you just posting rage bait?

I’ve mentioned this before, but go back and watch McMahon year 1 clips. The offensive scheme was much better. I know that sounds silly considering as a whole we were awful, but trust me.
Go look at huddles, assistant coach Corey Toppert was drawing up plays. He was the bald white guy that everyone joked about McMahon complaining to.
But no seriously, go back and look at the shite we ran to get Miller open. To get KJ good looks. We run nothing like that this year or last. I think it went away with Toppert leaving.

You're fine man. I'm just venting bro.
The last thing I want to do is look at is a bald white guy.
I can get than in a mirror - which do not exist - Just like LSU MBB fans.

All good. I’m venting as well.
I’ll join you in the bald club soon enough I think

We have 2-3 guys that think they’re bucket getters but can’t actually consistently get buckets.
Need KState game Carter and Florida St game Sears more often.

LSU basketball can teach a masterclass on finally attracting fans to the arena only to lose

mcmahon is supposed to be a guard oriented coach yet our guard play the past 3 years has largely been underwhelming. yes there are a lot of turnovers but again i implore you to go back and watch. go watch the spots on the court our guards sit at and the things they do on offense.
after doing so, tell me if it's their fault as a player or their fault for being put in a stagnant offense and being asked to do stupid things on offense

You act like Reed was an All SEC calibar player! Stop with the Reed's team! Reed was awfully inconsistent, would he have helped certainly but pat the brakes on acting like losing Reed was an all out death sentence. McNeese lost it's starting PG 4 games into the Season and he was averaging 17 PPG. Brandon Murray has been injured, Siincere parker has been injured and they are blowing by people! That's why you recruit depth at the position!!

You are again saying things no one has said. Reed was an integral piece but he wasn't going to make them a top tier SEC team. He was just going to put them in a better position for games like these.

If LSU were in the Southland Conference, I would not be worried one bit about losing Reed. Why do you keep bringing up Wade and then pretend you are not the one always bringing up Wade? Just go away, you aren't an LSU fan, you're a Wade fan, that much is obvious.

It's not my fault that you can't comprehend what a relative comparison is!
I've had season tickets for LSU basketball longer than you've been supporting LSU basketball.

Nice deflection.

I was a freshman at LSU in 1980-1981. Dale Brown's first Final Four team, LSU's second. I doubt you have had basketball season tickets since before that season.

Your definition of deflection is about as weak as LSU's 5 minute game under Matt mcMahon.
Our basketball program is stale. You don't have to like that, but the facts don't lie. Crazy that last night was the highest attendance under the current regime.
I've suffered thru the early 90's of the Dale brown era, I've suffered thru most of the John Brady years, the Trent Johnson Debacle, the Johnny Jones experiment.
Will Wade was a home run for LSU basketball in every aspect (fan attendace, PR, wins, etc).
I'm not a fan of the current state of the program. Lots of blame to go around. Recruiting, in game coaching, non conference scheduling....
