if every team in the SEC, besides LSU, gets blown out repeatedly, then fairly quickly the reputation of the conference will be drastically reduced, and we'd eventually become something like the ACC.

You said Bowl W/L record is something they talk about and you want the SEC to be tops. In any event WSU is where they are because they lost 2 games and played no one OOC and frankly because they are WSU. And they could still get in a NY6 bowl

There’s no need to be insulting. I see no reason to root for teams my team competes against that are from States I have no ties to and have been to a hand full of times.

Several recruits over the years have stated Alabama winning titles is why they went there. At least 2 big time ones that LSU wanted. Landon Collins and Surtain Jr. So rooting against them is not just emotional at all

Wrong.
The committee still has a strong perception of the SEC.
LSU with only one "close" loss to Bama will get in in most years.

I NEVER pull for a team against whom LSU competes for recruits.

The "Good For The Conference" crap when BAMA wins another NC does NOTHING for and works against LSU's best interests.

I want the 3 to lose and lower their NC rankings.

For years ESPN would prop them up ... now is much less after eating crow for years.

Alabama is the only one I pull against..
Fl is in the East and concerns me less.

I have a confession to make:

frick the SEC. Especially the teams in the West. Football is a proxy for warfare. I can respect them and not care for them.

So, outside of Mississippi State, Vandy and UGA (generally), and Auburn for 1 game per year, frick the other SEC teams.

I cheer for LSU. I hope all other SEC teams lose. Zero Sim game. Exception are the lower tier teams like UK, USCe, Vandy. Screw everyone in the SEC West.
