The bowl WL no bearing on anything. They talk about it during bowl season and that’s it. The strength of the league during the season matters but even then Arkansas sucks and didn’t hurt. We are 10 based on our schedule this year not what happened in bowls last year.

I rarely pull for SEC teams in bowl games unless their win somehow helps LSU. Other than that, the SEC can f'ck off as far as I'm concerned.

They are on the outside looking in for an NY6 bowl and four 3 loss teams are ranked above them.
I’m not sure how anyone can argue against conference strength being a good thing.
Just say you will root against SEC teams because you don’t like them. I can actually accept that position just fine.

If anything, I'm more inclined to root against the SEC if anything. I find myself mostly indifferent otherwise.

Athe playoff sorta takes the whole needing to cheer for your conference out of play.

McDonald's perception doesn't improve if Wendy's has a good quarter or year.
If a conference kicks arse, the perception of all members of that conference improves. That leads to more positive exposure, higher rankings (ever notice how the top 25 is usually chock full of SEC teams), which leads to more money to each conference team from placing more teams in bigger bowls and having huge TV contracts. Not to mention attracting more elite recruits, who want to play in the best conference against the best teams.

I dislike both Saban & Fisher and want these 2 to lose every game they play! But I will pull for every other team in the SEC.

Maybe I'm just selfish, but I'd rather just have them all go to LSU as opposed to being spread throughout the conference.

I have been pulling against Alabama in bowl games since the 1970's and will continue to do so. The people who chant "SEC, SEC" and all that shite are delusional if they think that Alabama's winning national championships every year helps LSU at all.
Now I have recently added two more teams to my list: Florida and aTm. I hate both of those trashy programs just as much as I do Alabama, and want them to lose every bowl game.
