She has said it in interviews I've seen. My response is what do you think they are going to say. The media is the reason he does this. They created this monster with interview after interview with him, so of course he eats it up and feels he is delivering what the people want.

He really thinks the negative comments about him are in the minority and 90 percent of the people like what he does.

I've talked to him once when this all started and he was actually very nice, but he has to know when enough is enough and he doesn't.

I can't say who I talked to, but I guarantee he isnt as well liked as you say...

First let me say, he is a nice guy. He has a Facebook following which is why he acts the way he does. He is not there to cheer on the players, he is there only for his benefit. His sister did play for LSU awhile back, years ago. As one who has to sit behind his antics, it is very annoying. The players have to respond to all "fans" politely. We usually sell our tickets behind home plate if we find out he is going to be there that weekend.

I wish one of the players would step out of the batters box, look at him, and say, "will you please shut up?" It would probably draw a huge cheer from the crowd.

I don't know about that... after I've complained a couple of years ago on here, he found a way on Facebook to threaten me a few times. I was pretty worried about going to games right after that, but I figured that I'm getting old and if I'm worried about that, then I'll find something else to do. That's why I don't travel to Baton Rouge for softball much anymore.

He's not only there for softball, at football games, he's usually around the band on the road, and behind the bench near student section as home games. I saw him down near the court at women's basketball championship, and I made sure I was in upper deck at gymnastics last year when we won because he was there.

I know a few college players who have told me that they didn't think they could play for LSU with him behind the plate because of the distractions.

I think it's awesome and support that he can go cheer for our teams, I just don't care for how he always does it.

I 100% agree.

However, if asked about him, Beth and the players all say they love him.

Of course, they will say that. If they say they don't like what he does the media will fan the flames.

Have you noticed in the last couple of years, the media - especially the national media - don't point him out and interview him like when this first started?
