I dont think Max is the guy, he has ways to go. That said it may not matter who the QB is when the O line is trash and we have unimaginative coordinators who can't make in game adjustments.

even without that play. we weren’t winning the game.
i don’t get knocking an 18 year old who got rocked 15 times last night, playing on the road in a wild environment, with a garbage Oline, and it being his 3rd official start.
We don’t have a QB on the roster who would’ve won us the game last night. stop it. some of y’all are drama queens.

Honestly that pass deserves to have been picked off for a touchdown. That was a bonehead play, And I hope he knows it.

Agree 100%. And I was screaming at the TV for a long time after that play for that to happen. You cannot be a leader for this team making plays like that at the QB position. That was not a 4th down, last ditch effort desperation play to try and win the ballgame. Theoretically, we were still in the game,
And I’m sick and tired of Orgeron spewing horseshite sunshine before the year starts. Last year it was how the defense would be better than the year before.This year he’s boasted that Johnson has Burrow-like leadership qualities and swagger. That was not a leadership play. And his backpedaling throughout the game is indicative of a scared quarterback with no poise.
