I bet he’ll “gash” the defense.

You can basically use his name in all the Big Johnson shirts they used to sell at alvins island

Don't almost all college football players come from high school?
Aren't almost all recruiting films from high school?

The only reason I would start Max is because Decalus is playing Right Tackle with a lefty at QB. LT has been a little too inconsistent for a right hander's blind side. Getting Ingram back may help that a little, though.

Don’t get why were assuming Johnson is next man up Finley is a stud too

Maybe if Finley’s last name was a word that could also mean dick, then these homoerotic fantasy having douchebags would be doing backflips for Finley to start.

i actually think he will be pretty good...

dont ask me why i feel that way, pretty much everything says hes going to struggle (conventional wisdom)

but i just get a gut feeling that he goes for 300 yds and 2/3 TDs..

He's not an accurate passer like Burrow, Brady, Brees, etc caliber. Not as bad as Harris or Jenkins or Jefferson were so he might be serviceable. But we're not gonna win a conference much less a Natty with him.

Ok? Maybe so. He also could come out and play very well. You have no clue what he will do and neither do I, but to just automatically come out and say it's going to be a long day is stupid. He has talent obviously and has shitloads of talent to work with for him to be successful. I'm looking forward to seeing the future of lsu football and building for next year and beyond. This season is a rebuilding year anyway and we have to treat it as such. Max johnson will come out and play like a tiger this saturday. I believe he is ready and has been coached up for this moment throughout his life by his dad. Go get em max! Geaux Fightin' Tigers!

Fans who are questioning Finley should go to You Tube and watch him play/practice and listen to his interview. He is smooth on the field and giving an interview.
Coach said both have NFL potential.
