He now has ten, with five of those being Top 100 players.

Haven’t had many guys speaking up lately about how much Scott sucks and how he’s a disaster from top to bottom wonder where they all went

It’s an over reactive cult in here that comes on here every time something changes and stirs up a bunch of shite

What does the roster look like for this fall? Aren't some of those players in the class of 2023?

Such a great start for MM. I think we all knew he was a great coach but didn’t know how he’d do recruiting (especially compared to WW). So far so good!

Those are players who will be on the roster for the coming season.

McMahon is gonna win big here. Such a great hire by Woodward.

He’s known to be an elite recruiter and has established himself as an elite coach overall.

If Wade had to go, I don’t think we could have asked for a better replacement

Wade is still my guy and I'm still really pissed off about the whole situation, but I will always support LSU Athletics no matter who the head coach is. If you put on the p&g, I'm a fan.

Dude's kicking arse. I liked Will Wade and I like McMahon. What would really get under the NCAA's skin is if WW skates on their accusations with his lawyers AND McMahon comes in hot.

Would be interesting to see the spin or how they target our program if we beat UK or tenn a few times

They will if he doesn’t go undefeated next year.

(To date) he has flipped the results that I thought he would get in rebuilding the roster. I figured McMahon would do a solid job in the transfer portal, but struggle signing HS players given the state of the program, how late in the recruiting cycle he got the job, and he probably didn't have strong relationships with top 100 players given he had been recruiting below that level all season.

What has happened is he's probably been a BIT underwhelming in the transfer market (though that could still change) but exceeded all reasonable expectations by signing two top 75 HS players. From the outside looking in it appeared LSU had no business beating out Georgetown and Virginia Tech to sign Ward. G'town was a "hometown" school and had Ward's LSU's connection, Nickleberry, on their staff. Virginia Tech is much closer to metro DC than LSU and they have a HS teammate of Ward's on their roster (along with another connection formerly of Xavier...where Ward was previously committed). So that goes to show you McMahon and his staff, still unproven at LSU, were able to sell a in-demand player on their vision

If he is able to bring Miller back, undoubtedly an A+ for CMM in rebuild

Absolutely hated to see Wade go but have been extremely impressed with McMahon so far. He’s exceeded all of my expectations.

If he can get Miller to stay and bring in KJ Williams (should he not stay in the draft) the roster would probably be the best anyone could have REASONABLY hoped for. That is a roster that should compete in the SEC. Not win the league. Probably not finish in the top 4 (Arkansas, Kentucky, Auburn will be really good. Tennessee probably will as well). But compete for a shot at a NCAAT berth.

All of the following things can be true:

Wade was awesome
Woodward should not have fired him
McMahon was a great hire
