Matchup of the SEC's top two scoring offenses, with LSU averaging 42.8 and OM 42.0

AP - Mississippi and its high-flying offense stalled in the season’s first matchup of ranked SEC West teams.
The 20th-ranked Rebels get a quick second chance in that scenario, while quarterback Jayden Daniels and No. 12 LSU's own dynamic offense hope to avoid a similar fate on the road. Ole Miss (3-1, 0-1 Southeastern Conference) is trying to rebound from that 24-10 loss at No. 12 Alabama and remain a division contender.
It's a matchup of the SEC's top two scoring offenses, with LSU averaging 42.8 points and Ole Miss 42.0.
The Tigers are led by Daniels and wide receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas.
“I would argue maybe the hottest offense in the country,” Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin said of LSU.
Ole Miss has several key targets making their way back from injury — star wide receiver Tre Harris, receiver Zakhari Franklin and tight end Caden Prieskorn.

TTT - Several Key Targets Back for Ole Miss' Home Game with Rival LSU (it was once very heated). I predict this is going to be a very entertaining game for college football fans across the country.

Looks like LSU wins then.
LSU - 42.8
Ole Miss - 42

Whoever has the best 3rd /4th down conversions wins.

Then it's going to end in a tie because both defenses are horrible, they mirror each other on 3rd down.

Well then LSU most definitely loses this one. Our 3rd down defense is abysmal.

Good thing this weekend's score is not based on previous weekends.
One defense is going to have to get some turnovers and get some stops to win. This favors the better QB and offense and that's LSU.

I think it was a sanctimonious midget and I think he said it about the LSU fanbase.

We really aren’t that high flying at all against teams with actual talent
We torch Mercer and East St. Louis tech college though.

Perhaps the saving grace is that Dart, while still mobile, is not as elusive as Travis and Jefferson. Yes, LSU's defense played poorly in those games. But Travis and Jefferson kept plays alive. After LSU finally figured out how to get heat on Dart last year Ole Miss's offense was completely shut down.

Everyone thinks that Lane Kiffin throws the ball all around the place. Bottom line is he wants to run the ball and he couldn’t against Alabama. Look at the wins and they ran the ball effectively. I think Dart is a middle of the pack SEC quarterback who doesn’t have great weapons around him. He makes throws that make you scratch your head. We need to stay in our assignments and get to him when it counts. I think
Arkansas puts a better product on the field. Maybe I’m wrong but I just don’t see it from Ole Miss.
