If I had to attend each event I would choose LSU season tickets. If I could sell them I would choose Masters Tickets.

Bull fkn shite. When the gates open and once you clear security, people running to their intended spots. Probably not a one of you debating this have ever been there when the gates opened on Sunday morning trying to get close seating on the 18th green. I loved the place, every bit of it, and especially enjoyed the fact my dad and I got to enjoy a dream of a weekend at the Masters, together, for the first time. We had a great time, no complaints. I'm just stating facts. I have no idea where the BIG money is...don't care...but I do know that you can pay a fee the evening before and have your chair placed at a desired destination around a green. Maybe it is for high rollers only...but being the first out to the green and hundreds of chairs already there tells me I didn't receive bad information. Btw, you aren't supposed to talk to the players or caddies once the tourney begins, but Larry mize was our guest speaker Friday night, and that dude not only made the cut but was in contention. He was as shocked as anyone at that dinner. After his final round Sunday he came over, with his caddie, and talked to Dad and I for a good 10 minutes.

It is well known that you aren't allowed to run at the Masters and the Marshalls continually tell the patrons that. They also don't do things like set out seats for an extra charge. That is part of the allure behind the entire event.
No Running at the Masters
No Running at the Masters

Say you have LSU football season tickets would you give them up to buy expensive masters tix?
No, it's still golf. I might go if it was free, but certainly not paying to watch golf.

And if you love golf like me, it's off the charts, especially sitting on the grandstand beside 12 tee at Amen Corner.

quote:with all due respect, this is incorrect. You've provided no proof other that a couple people told you.
I asked how that was possible since I was first there. That's what I was told by multiple people.
There's no chair fee. Most everyone knows this. The people that told you that are dead wrong. Sorry, but they just are.

Easy decision, Masters, you can go to just about any LSU game, not easy to attend the Masters.
