If all the at risk fans stay home, that should reduce the crowds to about 40K at most.

I am not going to wear a stupid mask. It is stupid and does nothing to prevent the virus.

I can watch LSU play in person OR on TV. It's not necessary for me, you, anyone to have to attend the game to "see" the game. The ticket holders pay for the opportunity to enjoy attending the game. Perhaps for some, maybe many, that enjoyment level is diminished by having to wear a facemask in order to attend the game. Or to put it another way, maybe the befit of attending the game no longer equals the cost to do so if wearing a facemask is required.

I'll say for me personally, as a season ticket holder, I have no interest in attending the game if I have to wear a mask. That is not something that is enjoyable for me. Thus, if mask are required, I prefer simply just to stay home. But I do think I should be refunded my money since wearing a mask was not something required at the time I purchased my ticket. Had it been, I would have likely not purchased the ticket at all.

Masks are not going to stop the virus spreading in our society. Nothing will. It is going to keep spreading, and there is nothing that will prevent that outside of an effective vaccine.

Are they going to demand that everyone wear the masks tailgating all day too? How exactly will they enforce that? Because if they don't, an in-stadium mask policy would be even more meaningless that it already is.

Because at any given time, there will be thousands of people without a mask, either temporarily (eating/drinking/etc) or who didn't wear one.

It is totally and completely impossible to enforce on any scale once inside the stadium.

Will the Band wear masks?
Cheerleaders?
Politicians?
Announcers?
Officials?
Coaches?
Players not playing?
TV hacks on the sidelines?
Ushers?
Fans in suites?

"It is stupid & does nothing to prevent the virus"?Yet when I had elective bilateral hernia surgery recently , every medical professional....a good 30+....was wearing one.Rather doubt there was any politics behind it. Pretty sure their medical information came from valid sources. But to equate wearing a mask to tearing down statutes......realllly???
