Demarini makes the best BBCOR bat no doubt. Ive use most of them. Marucci is probably next best. Easton took the biggest drop in the BBCOR era, seems they still havent figured out the change. They also try to sell their top bat for $500 which is more than the others.

Not this year. Easton Mako is the hottest, and most expensive. Rawlings is an underrated BBCOR bat as well.

They're all pretty much equally shitty now.

Demarini was always my favorite.

I loved a flex grip. Seemed like the power hitters were always swinging the Easton's while us smaller guys swung Demarini.

And $500?!? Jesus christ top of the line bats used to be around $300 when i played

Looks like Texas doesn't have a contract. They're swinging both Marucci and Louisville Slugger

For the money, the Mako is not worth it, and i just didnt like how it felt.
I do agree Rawlings has a good bbcor, but they didnt have to change their bat much from the besr version the 5150 is legit tho

why is that?

I would think we would use them since he is our trainer?

I mean is it some kind of conflict of interests that I'm not seeing?

Probably has to do with circumventing the 3 coaches rule that the ncaa has. I know he's the trainer, just spitballing

And the OP had an epic fail

ff the field, Marucci has mastered the art of crafting wooden baseball bats and founded his own company, the Marucci Bat Company. The bat company, which originally started with a workshop in his backyard, now has hundreds of Major Leaguers swinging its bats, including Albert Pujols and the 2006 NL MVP and home run champion Ryan Howard. Marucci's bats, which now include a line of aluminum bats, are the fastest-growing bat in baseball.

The Marucci Bat Company has also been represented in both the Major League All-Star Game and the World Series in recent years with numerous Major Leaguers swinging the Marucci Bat.

It's not PM decision. The players liked the ones we use better

Yeah. Paul has no say in the decision. Sure. He just gets all the $$ from the bat contract. I'm sure $$ didn't influence Paul's selection of bat contract.

He's going to get $$ no matter what bat contract they signed.

Yeah but if you don't think $$ was the factor in his decision you're delusional.

And to the OP.... Whoop Whoop whoooooooooooo!

Did the vastly superior A2000 play into the decision?

Yeah he's going to make the team use lesser quality bats just so he can take in more cash. This entire thread is just stupid.

Mainieri personally gets the money or the baseball program gets the money from bat contracts?

The Cat 5 might be the second to worst bat ever made behind Louisville's Green model from 2002. Can't remember the name.

The head coach gets paid for the bat contract and they swing demarini bats because they forked up the $100K+ to sign him. Marucci did not want to pay the money. Marucci also lost out on South Carolina a few years ago because Rawlings offered $135K to the coach.

So CWS91, you obviously don't have an agenda, tell us which company makes the better bat?
