LSU game planned hard for Michigan. We were sloppy with the Ball 1st half but we ran offense and played sound D all game. That hasn't happened the last 2 games. That's only thing frustrating to me. These teams are better no doubt but I'd like to have seen much better defensive rotations and halfcourt sets. Very Johnny Jonesish Rec ballish the last 2 days.

I remember this time last year I was saying pack it up boys and come home boys after game 1. This time we were way more effective.

Good thing is we got a game here and it wasn't chaminade. Didn't get embarrassed tonight. To be any type of true threat we need Sampson but if it really is only 3-4 weeks the level of teams we play between now and then aren't very good.

The box score for this game is pretty depressing. Waters went beast mode, but not much besides that.
Sims had 9 points & 7 rebounds, but was 3-9 shooting & 0-5 from 3. Onwuasor scored 13 points on 5-11 shooting. The rest was pretty horrible.
We really need Sampson back. Completely different team when he plays.
