Taylor’s twitter came down and his old handle @Mar1on is now back up with what looks like new admin. Looks like he hardly played. Any word on what’s up?

You said like 4 different things all jumbled into one “paragraph” and nothing is related to each other

....um,

Ok, I'll try to figure this out.

Taylor was benched for Smart in a late decision before tip-off. LSU got run ragged early, so there weren't any real subs except to get Bigby Williams out (he looked lost).
Taylor might have initially sulked about being benched, so maybe he did something with Twitter. Was gonna post F this or something, then maybe he backed off.

I'm guessing you were on a flight and missed the lineup announcement.

That help any?

Sounds feasible. Thanks didn’t know if there was word of any reason for change other than basketball.

Starting Smart over Taylor was one of the dumbest decisions imaginable. We've only lost like 3 games in the last 3 months since going with Waters, Mayes, Taylor, Reid and KBW.

Anyone hear an explanation for this move? It killed us defensively to start the game and then caused us to have zero offense off the bench.

I was shocked when I saw Smart was starting. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Was this a Tony Benford decision?

If so, one of many reasons why he should not be a head coach anywhere.

Plus, his losing record at North Texas.

Oh hopefully I’m right. Naw homeboy is good at defense but totally sucks at offense. Terrible never seen a man part of such an important part become nothing other than defense.

Yep, as soon as I saw Smart start the game I hated it. At this point in the season you do what got you there. That 8-0 run to start the game dictated the rest of the night.

Not sure on who made that call.

Benford may be going to A&M with Buzz.

Taylor plays D. Is a high flyer with dunks and putbacks. Can shoot free throws at a decent clip. If he were making shots and scoring the guy would be an nba prospect. Obviously that is not the case, but the guy has a strong role on the team. I think they should have kept the starting lineup in they had most of the season.

Obviously products of today’s whacked public school system, which fails to teach things like English, etc. This includes improper use of “it’s” versus “its”. But hey, 2+2=5 if it makes you feel better about yourself, right?

You guys kill me on this post. Clearly don’t watch the game. All you say on here is Taylor can’t score when in reality he can. I doubt any of you ever actually ever played.

But the shot selections by this team is horrible and has been horrible all season. Showing that the staff didn’t want Taylor to be aggressive and had zero confidence in him doing so. MSU literally left Marlon open THE WHOLE GAME just like Kentucky. The difference Marlon had the first 7pts so Kentucky had to stop doing it. What we needed to exploit it by getting bodies moving and putting Marlon in positions to use his strengths like driving and ball movement to open shots.
It’s impossible to be ready to score when every possession your damn near wide open and you got players taking step back jumpers and you wide open. That’s all MSU did, knowing we would pack the paint on cassius. Izzo has faith in his other players showed LSU never had faith in Marlon until it had to. We was the worst rebounding team and defense team before Taylor and Bigby-Williams started getting major minutes. So in the biggest game of the year you let the play under 20 mins. They damn near never played together last night. Which is why we lost and if look back to majority of games we always start out strong with best starting 5 rarely get them back together. You will see Marlon Taylor on that next stage playing big and you gone wish you had him.
