Killed it at Nevada and was very competitive at Georgia. Ton of tough loses this year. In my opinion he may be worth the risk.

Mark Fox is sitting within a 100-mile radius of some of the best high school bb talent in America. He rarely gets any of it to UGA and UGA constantly underachieves. Mark Fox is not an effective SEC HC.

I say we go for Phil Jackson

Mark Fox is a Trent Johnson disciple. He was an assistant at Nevada when Johnson was there and got the Nevada job when Johnson left to go to Stanford.
No thanks.

Mark, yes. But should be Godfried. NCST is a bad job and he did a great job. Unrealistic expectations with injuries hurting them this year.

He's a very good coach. Id take at least a look at him if we could get him. Knows offense and knows how to gameplan. Have some questions about recruiting but Uga has never been able to keep their guys. If you gave mark fox our roster we are in the NCAA tourney this year.

Trent Johnson coaching tree. LOL

Risky?
He's exactly the opposite. The epitome of average.

That's hardly commendable. Trent Johnson was Johnny Jones before Johnny Jones, and had an 0-18 season at TCU in the Big Twelve.
Not a stellar pedigree, IMHO.

He has the #3 and #5 leading scorers in the conference and he's barely .500.

But that's all he has is 2 guys and one of em fouls out half the time the rest of the team stinks. I know he recruited them and if I had a knock against him that's it. I've also watched a lot of Uga games since the network came out and his teams run efficient offense and play a good brand of ball. If he can be a B+ recruiter here I think he'd do fine. I really don't see him as a candidate but I do like him from an X's and O's standpoint.

Easy killer. There is no chance this team makes the tourney with any coach. The only competent basketball player on this team is Blankeny.

You do know a lot of teams make the NCAA tourney with zero NBA players right?
