A couple of questions:
1) Douche boy says that Trevor Lawrence is the best qb in the country and then immediately starts talking about how there were only three defenses giving up under twenty now there is one. Did Lawrence switch to linebacker?
2) Does anyone really believe he would yell at Marcus Spears like that in an uncontrolled environment?

Watched the video again. Think I had missed the first couple seconds last time. Sounds like he is just trying to make a larger point about why he likes Clemson, but you can’t hear him finish his point after Spears starts laughing.
He was talking about Lawrence has been playing as good as anyone, then he was following it up with their rb and defense also playing as well as any rb or defense in the country. Since you can barely hear him finish the point, that’s why it sounds weird when he’s talking about Clemson’s defensive stats.
Honestly, I think Spears made this entire thing way worse than it really was.

That’s exactly what it was. You just can’t hear him finish because Spears started laughing. That’s why he is talking about defensive stats when Spears sits back down. His overall point was that Clemson’s qb, defense, and rb, are all playing at the top levels of their respective groups.

What? I think that poster articulated the point fairly well. It shouldn’t surprise me but it still does that the everyone thinks everyone must have the same opinion or they are stupid. The vast majority are so busy looking for some thing to be out raged by you’ve lost all sense of reason. It is possible to think a point is reasonable without necessarily agreeing with it. Which is all I was saying.
Lawrence is a great QB, he’s already won a title and if we have to play them he’s gonna be a serious problem.

I have no problem with him saying Lawrence has more potential, but that's not what he said. And I have no idea how anyone could listen to what he said and believe that's the argument he was trying to make.
He said "there's no QB in college playing better than the kid at Clemson." He then doubled down on that hot take on Twitter. He even added the qualifier "in college" to narrow the potential objections to his argument. You're either agreeing with that point or just arguing for no reason at all.

He didn’t switch gears. That was his entire point. Listen to him closely as he continues when Spears is laughing and stands up. He was quite obviously trying to make the point that those three things for Clemson are all playing at levels as high as anyone else. He’s basically saying he likes Clemson’s combination of qb, rb, and defense, over every other team.
