Would have been awesome to be a student at LSU from 1967-1971.

You get to watch Maravich, and then the football teams were reallyyyy good in that time. 4 all-Americans.

Watched it with my son. Thank you to the entire Maravich family. Josh, I pray that you find yourself. Have faith.

I enjoyed how it was done. I didn’t know it would be that dark. I liked how it started off marveling at how great he was, then got extremely dark, and ended with high spirits.

Was there ‘68-72. Football and Basketball was unbelievable.

The book Pistol is excellent. I highly recommend it.

I know...69 points against Bama and we still lost by a basket. That's like us losing to Auburn with Cecil the Diesel.

Pete's passes seemed even more incredible than his shooting. But I don't know if his NCAA scoring average will ever be broken.

Docs about Pistol Pete need to be longer than simply an hour, hell you could make a 2 hour doc only about Pistol's 4 year career at LSU just a magical time not only in America but also the South relative to basketball and the promotion thereof

Watch the video and go read the book Pistol.
He dropped 60+ on Walt Frazier. Frazier was one of the better defenders I’ve ever seen in the pros. He could play.

He would own today’s NBA. Without a left artery to his heart.

Was a student at LSU during the Maravich era. His passing and dribbling were cooler than his point production. When will it be aired again, anyone? Thx

Yeah, no. Averaged 24 pts in NBA; led league in scoring one year; named one of 50 best NBA players of all-time.

Jodyplauche you think just like me. I almost posted this yesterday. Only thing I would have done different is not list the 3% and not list the names and ask everyone to decide which one was Kobe and which one was Pete. Kobe is considered a top 15 player in NBA history, and Pete had numbers comparable to him.
