Yeah that makes sense. I mean there were only a handful of players with NIL deal especially at that time.

IF he did the ads, the dealer may have a little problem. At most schools, the kid would own the car. Cheapskate dealer, imo.

Yeah, this could be a problem with NIL. Bottom feeders like used car salesmen making sleezy deals that blow up.

If anything, you think the dealer would call the school / coach to get in touch with the player before calling police. LSU should place that dealer on a blacklist for players.
