It’s a classic trap game

You can find a statistic to state this almost every week. EX: the 8&4 game will be a “trap game” because it is the second of consecutive away games. Just like ole miss when they came to BR.

If the ark qb is limited, he will be immobile. LSU wins. If he does not play, LSU wins. If he can run LSU will have a battle on their hands. But WTF do I know.

While i do not think that Pittman is very good, both of his coordinators are pretty good and capable of winning a game that they “should not” win.

Typical SEC Saturday. Drink, cook, drink some more, enjoy the game.

Look at his numbers. He’s a great athlete and can make plays, but he’s also a turnover machine. He was in the G5, too. He’s not even close to as experienced and effective as Dart.

He’s also coming off an injury if he plays, which will likely limit his speed and ability to run. If he isn’t healthy enough to hurt us with the run, then he’s just a very average passer who’s prone to throwing picks.

If we win by 2 points, I'll be OK with it.

Arky is always a tough road game for us.

LSU has blown out Arkansas on the road twice since they came in the SEC, 2004, 2016. No reason to think they will this year either so yes, it will be tough hard fought game IMO..

Arkansas is never going to be a gimme. Doesn't matter if they're playing in Baton Rouge, Fayetteville, Little Rock, or the moon. Doesn't matter how good or bad the Razorbacks are, they're going to get up for the LSU game.

It's almost like LSU is their bama if that makes any sense. As a LSU fan Arkansas is way down there on my list of rivals behind bama, Florida, Ole Miss, Auburn, and now A&M. The Boot doesn't mean much to me but for the Razorbacks it's kind of a big deal.

Arkansas is on the verge this game after dropping some close ones and not playing well in some of their wins. If LSU can get an early lead, I could see them getting frustrated and starting to press. But this team has only had really fast offensive starts against UCLA and USA so far.

We will see if they’ve grown up a little Saturday.

why is everyone calling this a trap game? Arkansas is just coming off beating a top 10 Tennessee team in Fayetteville and both times Kelly has played Arkansas it’s been a one score game. He’s know’s this going to be a dog fight. If you’re looking for a trap game on the schedule it’s Florida in the swamp after the Bama game who’ll probably be playing inspired football under an interim coach.

We may very well lose the game (don't expect to) but no way the team is overlooking Arkansas at all. Maybe if they didn't upset Tenn but i'm pretty sure we know we have our hands full.

Curley's last year Lsu won by about 20pts in Lil Rock iirc.
