No one has been shot. We simply refute the "message" and I still do.

Rush back a hamstring and you are hurt all year and never 100%. If you come back to soon and tear it, kiss 2014 goodbye for the player.

Wasn't he supposed to be back to practice yesterday? Les said he would participate in the scrimmage today.

Thank you. Most people that post on this site overlook the message to jump on someone's arse for no reason without understanding a thing that was said.

No we are quick to jump on baseless rumors being spread especially when OP's like yourself give no sources, links, or direct quotes.

I don't expect Dupree to bring much to the table this year regardless of whether he is "soft" or not. While he is an incredible athlete, I think he is just very raw as a WR. IMO his impact will be limited almost exclusively to "go" or "9" routes (whatever you choose to call them). Of the two big time Fr. WR brought in, Quinn seems much more polished and ready to make plays from day one.

And most of this is false as well...

Dural, Diarse, and Dupre are our starting WRs. Dupre is bringing a lot to the table this year. And it's more than a 9 route. He's a polished route runner. And is more ready to make plays that Quinn at the moment, but I'm sure Quinn gets there soon.

You should read practice reports and what the coaches have been saying.... Dupre could be our top WR this year. And is already a top 3 WR for us.

The source was Derick Ponamsky saying this. I heard him saying it on 96.9 yesterday afternoon. He mentioned Dupre has a hamstring injury that has kept him off the field thus hindering him picking up the offense. He said the starters would be Dural, Diarse, and Quinn against Wisconsin. He could be full of shite but that's what he reported.

According to some other sources on other sites, some of the football team is starting to wonder if malachi is soft. He has been out for some time with a hamstring issue. All the rave reviews he was getting are now going away.
wow

I highly imagine that is not what came out of their mouths, but, ok.

Ponamsky did, in fact, say that his sources are claiming that some on the team are starting to doubt Dupre's toughness. That was written.

Speaking of Dupre, here is a nice article on him from SDS:

Film study: LSU WR Malachi Dupre is about to rip the SEC to shreds

People take hammy's too lightly. Remember Maze for Alabama on 1-9-12. I'm sure he wanted to play in that game pretty dog gone bad. If it can keep a senior out of a national championship game, I'm sure it can keep a freshman out of a few preseason practices.

The source is Ponamsky. In some article he wrote. It is concerning to me because DP is usually blowing sunshine about every LSU player.

Ponamsky on BBI reported that sources on the team and staff were beginning to wonder about the injury and Dupre's toughness. We aren't talking about message board posters here. DP is juiced in and most of y'all know that.

He's also the LAST guy that covers this team that would go negative. Him doing so in regards to Dupre is concerning.

You guys should hold off on shooting the messenger until you ensure you understand the message.

If I've learned anything these past few months it's that people like Ponamsky have very little insight when it comes to the inner workings of LSU. Take this shite with a grain of salt.

Dupre is about as polished a freshman WR as you will see.
