This is the type of game you recruit Zac Cowan to lsu for. Postseason insurance after you’ve burned through your other starters

Good take, for a queer.

William Schmidt, he is much better in his starts than relief appearances.

Who was the dude in game 2 two years ago against Florida who basically took the beating to save everyone else? That could be Schmidt’s role

Looking at the old box score, looks like Collins, Little and Dutton took beatings.

Noot is probably the best bet.

He started game 3 of the regional, and he started game 2 of the SEC tournament, which was the game after we used Anderson to start and Eyanson to close.

People may be writing him off a little bit because he didn’t have a great start against Little Rock in game 3 of the regional. But he had been pitching well before that outing. I’m hoping he gets the start tonight and gets back on track.

All of yall saying Cowan, have yall not seen him over the last 6 weeks? His changeup has no bite and his FB isn’t sharp enough to keep people off balance. Arkansas will smoke him. Noot is the only really option

Look Lester I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong on that take.

Cowan does well against Arkansas. I am mostly pleased he threw so many strikes. Looked like he was throwing more sliders? Great job by Cowan.
