Major Burns has the most fitting name ever in sports.

These kids are something else. When he wanted out of Georgia and to return home, LSU embraced him. Now, he's gone. The entitled generation.

The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.

No, he’s already been partially evaluated regardless of what you think. His grade will be finalized much later though, of course. I personally think he’ll be UDFA or 6/7 rounder if a certain team likes him. I’m only saying the thought that he hasn’t been scouted or the NFL has never heard of him is pretty ridiculous.

The never heard of him was sarcasm, but I will stick with my statement that anyone who thinks at this point he has received "positive feedback" is clinically insane or lying. There are literally thousands of college players available for the draft. And yes, they are concentrating on the good ones who MIGHT be drafted. Thanks for giving me your estimate for him. Mine is he won't sniff being drafted.

And once again, there is 0 advantage of evaluating players now. The draft is 4+ months away. There is the combine in Indiana and then the pro day at LSU. To think anyone is giving him feedback from the pros now is "pretty ridiculous". The poster made a claim and I'm simply asking for a link...he has yet to provide it. Should be easy right.

: Ssssssoooo, in other words you are saying that Burns is a reliable source. There is no self interest in any statement from him right. Hey, I've got an idea. Let's get the opinion of his mom about how good a player her son is! Like I said, your post was and is bullshite!

Do you remember when the board started saying Burns was finally figuring things out? He played a decent game or 2 then reminded us of his name Major Burns.

Yea I mean why not ask someone other than Burns what the nfl scouts are telling him. That makes sense right?

Do you know him? Have you ever spoken to him? Guy is one of the nicest most genuine athletes I ever met. Very humble. Great manners. Will interview very well.

Looking at your post history are you a Lester alter?

Let’s get on the record.

Do you think he will be drafted? What round?

Do you think he will be invited to the combine?

What will be run in his 40?

Will he make a final roster?

I thought he was suggesting race swayed TT’s opinion on whether a player opting out is acceptable. Perhaps I misunderstood.

Nooooo, I'm saying that players and relatives of players aren't the most reliable sources. What I asked you for was an NFL SOURCE who praised Burns. BTW, at no time did I say he was a lousy person. Having said that, I have heard countless times a person saying stuff like "I can play in the NFL"...."I should be starting over {such and such}". Quoting a player's opinion of himself is downright ridiculous or his interpretation of what was told to him...assuming he has even talked to an NFL source which I doubt BTW. You have pretty much admitted in your post that you are biased by knowing him personally.

When he was good, he was really good. Sadly, he was rarely good and making one play a game just doesn't cut it. He came out of HS as a stud recruit, but it didn't take long to realize he was way overrated!
